No ratcheting clicks. But ever since I got my LTT screwdriver.... I honestly can't remember where I have the Kobalt. Now I just can't wait til the precision screwdriver is available. Definitely getting that, too. And depending how it arrives, might also be 3D printing a case for that, too.

I think the keycaps have a clearcoat on them. Copper is a very, very bright metallic bubblegum pink when freshly machined. Oxygen in the air rapidly darkens and reddens them to the more familiar copper color. A similar phenomenon happens in brass, most brasses are brilliant yellow-white when freshly machined, turning to the more familiar golden yellow color after a few hours.

Seasonic and EVGA were really the only power supplies I would personally buy or recommend to others for quite a long time. The melting/blazing PSU debacle from a few years ago did have one fortunate side effect - it brought mass awareness to how important a quality PSU really is. 650w PSUs from these two brands weigh more than most 1000w models from most of their competitors. Cheaping out on capacitors in a bridge rectifier should be criminal. I really can't even recommend EVGA anymore due to the uncertainty regarding their future, as well as their lack of support for the (controversial) 12VHPWR connector.
Them sponsoring the video unveiling the Chroma psu tester was a nice move. That it's taking a long time to get much content from it is a bit or a downer, but understandable.
When they mentioned that the whole thing was crafted out of milled aluminum, I knew it was going to be expensive. When they started quoting individual parts mid way through the video, I knew it was going to be insane. Deapite all that, at 18:58 when the price flashed up on screen, my eyebrows disappeared into my hairline. This would have been a great case for a new "compensator" build after 5090s get released. And the keyboard? And the chair? They really went over the top on this one and it was hilarious. EDIT: Holy crap... Sinister is all over the comments dropping little extra details! The biggest problem I see is the ergonomics of trying to scoot in the chair so you’re not bent over trying to reach the keyboard. They need a pull out keyboard tray or a desk that can slide over. 150 pounds without wheels is a lot to move

Can confirm barber chairs make for a great computer chair. I place a wooden board across the arms for keyboard and mouse. Great posture, comfortable and durable. As a larger guy i got tired of breaking office chairs. Its heavy, and expensive up front but cheaper than a replacement office chair every year.

just insanely well built parts guys, 7075 Billet aluminum is pricey as heck but it looks so good and has that overkill amount of strength . Seeing people in the auto industry use 7075 billet to make engines that produce 2000+ horsepower to a PC case is just mind boggling. Just beautiful work guys.

Can confirm barber chairs make for a great computer chair. I place a wooden board across the arms for keyboard and mouse. Great posture, comfortable and durable. As a larger guy i got tired of breaking office chairs. Its heavy, and expensive up front but cheaper than a replacement office chair every year.

just insanely well built parts guys, 7075 Billet aluminum is pricey as heck but it looks so good and has that overkill amount of strength . Seeing people in the auto industry use 7075 billet to make engines that produce 2000+ horsepower to a PC case is just mind boggling. Just beautiful work guys.

its the same aluminum that is used in most metal AR lowers, it is alloyed with mostly zinc and its usually heat treated and aged for durability
