Great video. Found your channel today and loving the content - shame about the employee towards the end there. If someone had shouted at my wife like that I would have some choice words for them in return. Looking forward to watching more of your videos though
Thanks for subscribing, Tom! I was rather exhausted after the run to bother arguing back, lol! But tbh, she was very pleasant for the rest of the journey, just clearly annoyed at the time, lol!
HABEN SIE EINE FAHRKARTE FÜR REGIOJET???? Otherwise looks like quite the adventure. Im glad (except taht first one) you didn’t have too many issues with the trains. Lots of fun to watch as well :)
I love the concept, i am sure it's possible to go longer if you take Eurostar to Paris then TGV to either Milan or Barcelona and then high speed train to South Italy or South Spain
If you we're starting in London, perhaps. But we started in Wales so we'd be going back on ourselves - I planned it was going further away in a straight line each time. I've not looked at timetables yet so you may be right if the trains are faster! Perhaps a second attempt needs to happen? 🤔
we went to paris from cardiff ... in one trip there and one trip back ... cardiff - pad via the tube ( at the end downstairs .. not like you did ) ... not crossrail ..st panc in 10 mins Paris gdn :) my daughter was no amused
It was lovely! We didn't vlog it, but we stayed for three nights and really enjoyed the spas, the architecture and the food - although we ate at the Christmas market too often, lol!
Cool trip and a nice video! I did a similar trip back in August trying to travel as far from my home city of Stavanger (Norway) by public transport in 24 hours. I almost got to my target of Basel (Switzerland), but a delay on the last train meant I only reached Bad Krozingen, about 50 km short of Basel. Slow trains in Norway and Denmark and a ferry across to Denmark meant I only reached 1235 km (767 miles). Enjoyed that trip as well, though I did not make a video. Very happy to see more travellers following in the footsteps of Travelling Turtle (www.youtube.com/@travelling_turtle)!
Sounds like a great trip. I'd love to visit Norway one day - we'll get there eventually! I didn't discover Travelling Turtle till maybe 2-3 weeks after after we filmed this video though so it was quite a coincidence when I saw his 24 hour train trip.
Love this. Great work
Thank you!
These are great adventures you go on i realy enjoy travelling along with you

What a horrible employee. Shame on you, Austria.
Don't shame the country. Shame the employee?
🤌blaster
As a viennese I deeply apologize for that öbb employee attitude and I can confirm that its even a bit normal that people are a bit salty😅
Das war ein Regiojet, nicht ÖBB
