I was once a drummer. So, I love the video I’m going to leave a link to. This Grandma absolutely rocks “Down with the Sickness.” ua-cam.com/video/6wkCsnFRuwg/v-deo.html
@@HVACGUY wow, that was pretty cool. Almost mesmerizing. Do you have any videos of yourself drumming? I'd be interested in some uploads maybe another channel or on a web host page.
@@staind288 no. I was a drummer a good while before the internet or UA-cam. The last time I touched a set was 1991. Plus, I just thought I was a good drummer. Turns out I know just enough to spot a good drummer when I see one.
I put the rotation wires in 3/4 pvc really helps protect them from the elements mainly the sun. You do good work thought I’d give you that little tech tip 👍
I see you are in Albany Ga. A wonderful town. That was my last duty station, the Marine base. My first time in the south, and the Albany folks were so nice to us Marines, I never went back to California, my home. You are an example of the good people there. Thank you.
You and I will be watching the big cocktail party at noon Saturday. I will be rooting for the Gators but UGA has the best team in the country this year. Good job scoping that fan motor.
the motor shaft/blade hub has to be level or you'll need to take both angles in the same plane and calculate it 😉 you can use two cheap angle finders also, one on shaft and one on blade, zero the one read the other or calculate from the two readings.
@ 7:55 what does that mean, when the plug is on the side facing down when installed? I just replace our fan motor and removed the plug facing down after installing. Is this not ok?
on a call I needed a breaker but I just went ahead and hung a disconnect. Most technicians in the company I work; for carry the disconnect box and fuses.
Kinda rough on the stuff, ripping the wires through, slamming the top for the fan housing on the unit. Even if it is older, try not to scratch and dent the customers equipment. Disconnect being stucco'd on is another thing, gotta get to it if theres a problem. Also already looked like a replacement motor they just didnt use a separate cap. I think I saw electrical tape around the motor you took out.
good vid, when you return,i would patch up the cap wire hole when it rains will short the cap,and check the motor temp, the amps are on the high side, normaly you see 1.3 amazon has genteq, jard, amrad, decent prices.
Good choice in music. Thanks for sharing the motor telling tip surely one day will come in handy.
Love the Disturbed music playing in the background 🤘and the "squirrel" moment when you were talking about this weekends ball thing.

To get the blade angle, you can use a level app on your phone. Just put the phone on the blade and will show the angle.

Lucky it didn't smoke the compressor!
Nice catch!!

Stay safe.
Retired (werk'n)keyboard super tech. Wear your safety glasses!
You have to do what you need to keep your people happy. Go on line to find a good Caps that will last for years if you supply house fails to do it.
I think I need to
those Square D dummy-breaker switch disconnects will get you every time! when you see one, plan on replacing it always!

love your intro. nice!

is it true that you were arrested for beating that disconnect to death?
Disconnect had it coming don’t even try
just a question about commercial carrier rtu. im new and my question is how do determine circuit one from two with a unit with two comressors?
❤️❤️❤️
When in doubt throw a 1/4 hp 1075 rpm. Those motors fix everything 🤣🤣
It’s definitely a motor that I keep on the truck.
You can use the level app on your iPhone for the pitch
Thanks. I had to download one. But, I didn’t realize I could do that.
How can you tell which motor will fit? I mean physically, not spec wise?
Now I wanna know what was going on in CFB that weekend.
Good vid 👍👍👍🎃🎃🎃
Great vid .how u came up with 26" but u measured 13" ?
13 is radius. Blades are listed by diameter. Which is twice the radius
@@HVACGUY thanks ,good to know that .
I believe this unit takes a 2 speed fan motor...
Jus sayn
There’s no nameplate, so I guess I really don’t know how it came, but defrost board only has one connection as it is now.
