Dude that was absolutely badass! All the good stuff in one video too. TF103 vid was golden, and you got hazmat and ESU/MAL! Sick to see Q51 make an appearance too, so sick. Crazy fire too!

Wow, what an epic collection of catches! You were in the perfect spot (which I'm sure wasn't an accident). Super cool seeing the USAR task force and the other specialized units - awesome video!
This is my 2nd or 3rd time viewing this video and though it's been quite a few years since I rode with these folks(80's), I'm always impressed by LACo.FD's apparatus! Geez, Task Force 103 by itself is mighty impressive! HR103 is a Beast! Thanks again for all your work on these videos!!
Great great video!!!!!! I didn't know there was a actual station 51 after seeing the ladder or quint. Showing my age and being addicted to Emergency back in the day.
Hahahaha love that show. Favorite all time episode when they had to cut the girder off the woman and smacked Gage in the face. I was dying laughing for ten minutes at that scene.
Station 51 in “Emergency!” was actually Station 127 in Carson, which is STILL an operating fire station. Years later, at Universal Studios, they RE numbered the station there to 51 in homage to the show. And yes, as a huge fan of “Emergency!” It was cool to see something from that station responding!!
GOT ALL THE NICE UNITS.. I Love seeing that ESU we don't have many of those in atlanta. But we do have a million and 3 AMR busses lol.... loved it, Well Done!
Oh yeah got plenty to say here, firstly, this is by far one of your greatest videos of all time, secondly, I’m not a fan of the fact they ditched the American flag grilles with those hard to see numbers, and thirdly, not a fan of Q116’s new steady burn like what the heck is that?? 😭 awesome stuff!
i'm not a huge fan of the Firehouse Fabs grills either, they are indeed hard to see. i prefer the Code R Decals but i believe they age and fade quickly. thanks a bunch john!!
116's steady on is the epitome of doing just whats enough to comply with the law. And if you look, have of the units in this video don't even comply with the law so.
@@Stargazzer811 They did have steady burns prior, they were on the lightbar, but one is barely working and the other is out and it seems they're not willing to repair the lightbar.

LACo.FD has an automatic aid agreement with LA City in that jurisdiction. on all structure fires in LACo.FD 110's area (Marina del Rey), an LAFD battalion and task force are requested. however, this was a working fire and additional LAFD units responded.
not exactly sure. fire house fabrications (the manufacturer of their current grills) has been making quite the rounds around the county. i would like to assume companies decide on those based on the fact that they don't necessarily age or fade from sun exposure like the decals that are painted/stickered on. thanks for watching!
@@FB1ResponseVideos what happened with code r decals? i know they did stuff for multiple departments in southern california and was quite a fan of their work. are they out of business?
Not overkill, run cards. Everything above a 2nd alarm in LA County gets Hazmat, USAR, and a handful of other specialist units, that way they don't have to waste time waiting for them to arrive on scene. Also helps because they bring added manpower, which is always useful at a scene. Would rather have too many hands than too few.
That rescue unit is a beast-incredible footage.
Amazing response footage! I love the diversity of units in this video, LACo has some great looking rigs!
