I have the legion5 standard version, and I can say the following: Pros: *The quality of the materials is good, the laptops feels solid *The performance is very good *The screen with its 240 Hz frame rate looks great and smoth. * Its cooling system works fine, of course it is noisy when I play a demaning game but it is normal. Cons: *My computer has a i9 RX4060 and the battery duration is not good, even if I use the low performance mode it is not lasting more than 2 and a half hours with doing basic stuff like using chrome and microsoft office *The power of the speakers is really low, not what I expected for a 2,000 buck laptop I am really disappointed in this area
I bought it now and can’t wait to come.. intel i7-14650hx, 32 gb ram, 1TB ssd and nvidia 4060.. only is 165hz refresh rate 16” display.. i really hope its gonna be good for gaming and programming.. anyone has the same one? Some reviews
Got the one with 4070, otherwise they're the same. The only thing you might want to do with 4060 is lower some settings in games to medium or change dlss to balance. It should be fine for most games we have and also future games for a while. My 1050 ti laptop managed to run most things up until now, so that's around 5 years of not caring to get a new laptop(unless something changes drastically).
@@mosd8710Depends on what you had prior. Runs cool, screen is great, performance in games is great and you can tweak dlss to get some more out if it and use frame gen. My choice was the one with 4070 since either way that's $2k in Ukraine and 4060 had worse specs too at the same price. If 4060 one is significantly cheaper than 4070 in your country, go for it.
Hi guys, i just bought this laptop, and i have one question, when my fans starring to spin up, at the first they have a loud sound and then work in a normal way, what is the problem?
Hi, I want to buy a Legion 5, I just can't decide between the Legion 5 or the Pro version. I want it for gaming and general use. Now in my country there is a sale on the Legion 5 (core i9-14900HX/RAM 32GB/SSD-1TB) for €1853 and the Pro version with the same equipment for about €150 more. What is more worthwhile? Thank you.
@@StardropSmoothieasked this in one other channel. He said it felt sturdy. IDK but. One thing of note is that they've used the same thing on the more premium 7i.
i'm about to buy Lenovo Legion 5 16IRX9 16" Core i9 RTX 4070 / I'll use it mostly for video and foto editing, Is this a good one then. Or is it too much for my usage.
Excellent video editing in respect to information delivery.
I was looking for this comparison in UA-cam. Thanks a lot
Currently using the 23 version and i'm loving it.

Sounds like a driver problem, pretty normal for gpu drivers, should change back to older driver version

Will you suggest to buy this one? How is the overall experience so far?

So should I sell my legion 5i r7000 2023 for a new 2024 legion 5i?
I love the Legion line. I don't game, I use them as Linux workstations 😉
I use it FOR running VM workstations like 5 at a time #Cybersecurity #Red Teaming
What is linux workstation
@@badcaptain-1558 Just a nice powerful laptop that runs Linux to do work (instead of playing games, although you can play games too if you want to) 😉

The cooling on this laptop depends on that foam. That makes me reconsider this laptop. Opinion?

Is this about 16' version? There are 2 versions. You'd better write in title.
What are the two versions?
