IDK why there isn't an (unwritten) rule that if your engine is blowing, you immediately pull off to the side and turn off the car.

Hamlin should've pulled off immediately but they let him continue driving on around, dropping oil on the line. If he pulled off immediately there would've been no need for a yellow. So yeah, if you know racing, you know over half of these yellow segments every single 'race' are unnecessary. Utter stupidity
