Aaron Colhoun thank's, I've had about 5 early morning sessions now trying for Plaice at Budleigh over the summer, hopefully September will be a better month 👍
Im new to your channel i see you fished Branscombe which is close to the caravan site in beer where we holiday so I thought id ask if you'd fished beer or seaton from the shore if so any tips on how to fish it best also what is likely to be caught there thanks
All depends on the conditions and time of year, Seaton in the spring/summer months is worth trying for Plaice, Smooth Hounds, Rays and autumn/winter for Codling, Bass and Whiting. Beer is a good area for lure fishing for Wrasse and Bass due to the rough ground. Lots of other species to try for, Bull Huss, Conger, Gurnard's etc. all baits will work, casting distance and rig's, LRF/HRF and beach in the area. 👍
steve mills I fish at Steamer Steps end a lot more due to the free parking, so I have caught quite a few different species from there but I have still caught decent fish from the middle of the beach or in front of the Lime Kiln car park. 👍
liam isaac If you haven't been there before the beach car park has caught a lot of people out and they have received fines as it's run by premier parking, pay within 5min when driving into the car park (camera takes a photo) and don't over stay your time too, top up if you do. If you fish in front of the car park then it's clean ground the further left or right you go the more your fishing into mixed ground, you can see that on google maps. Fishing wise, fish as you would at Chesil mate, for me it would be fish/squid on one rod and crab or worm on the other, Cheers 👍
@@TedGreenBeachFishing cheers for points mate espically with car park. Does maccie baits get much intrest. Going down with squid and maccie as cant get hold of any peelers
liam isaac definitely mate, especially after this rough weather. I'd try a big squid or mackerel bait close in for Bass, squid and mackerel wraps at distance.
Lovely Huss! Good to see your perseverance paid off 👍
Class as always
Thanks for the vids, love to watch a pro fish the same beaches as I do.
Enjoyed that!

I normally fish the other end of Budleigh near the car park or in front of the toilets do you find the end you fish more productive
