  • The Husqvarna Nuda 900 has become a famous yet rare sight thanks to youtubers like Royal Jordanian and some Instagrammers, but what's it actually like to ride?

    I first saw the Nuda 900 R in 2013. At the time I thought it was some very neat conversion by some owner. Until I realized that this "thing" was officially put into production by Husqvarna. Since then it has been my goal to own it one day. I managed it in 2021 when I found one in excellent condition with less than 10,000 km on the odometer. I maintain it reverently and it has reached 24,000 km in my hands. If you take care of it and know how to protect it from its "weaknesses", you won't have any issues. With him I have traveled to Europe but I have also scanned my country and most of all I have rode around my city Athens hundreds of times. All I've been getting for almost three years now are smiles and only smiles. I paid quite a bit of money to get it as a used bike, but it was worth it because of its excellent condition. That same day I erased that money from my mind and decided that I would never sell it. When one day its engine stops working it will decorate some corner of a building as a work of art. Until that day comes I know one thing: it will have paid off every euro with many moments of driving pleasure.

    Ive just bought one after loving them for years amd my word, best bike ive ever had.
    It looks amazing, like nothing else on the road. Even non bikers come over to admire it. Just beautiful.
    Rifing podition is phenomenal. You're upright, arms wide, back straight, legs not cramped. I could tour on it no problem.
    It is SO frugal, just sips the petrol. Believe me, you won't even notice the tank being only 13 litres.
    The engine just pulls like a train, in every gear. It's just a torque monster, overtaking is effortless. And of course the sound.........utter bliss.
    The front brake is the best you'll find on any bike, almost TOO powerful.
    It handles like nothing else on the road, just SO flickable. If it so mich as sniffs a corner it wants to turn. Took a bit of getting used to initially as the front is so light but once you do, it makes you look like a pro rider.
    I will never, ever sell mine. When a man tires of a nuda, he tires of life

    The Nuda 900R is the best bike I've owned. The Nuda is definitely a one of a kind motorcycle, and you really have to ride it to understand how awesome and special this bike really is!
    PS. Great video & ride safe!

    Having the rare pleasure of owning the Nuda 900 here in the UK i agree with everything you say. It's such an amazing,interesting and now extremely rare bike. Yes there are lots of nice newer bikes, but they lack character. This bike sometimes feels like it's alive! Like a Master Engineer crafted it in some remote mountain and put a soul in it...A feeling that is hard to describe... Royal Jordanian has plenty of newer more powerful bikes, but the Nuda has a special place in his heart for him. I didn't really understand why at first, especially when he has bikes like the Superduke 1290 or the BMW S1000rr. But this is one of those rare bikes that makes seasoned riders stop and ask what the heck is it (yes there are people who have never seen it or heard about it) it really is DIFFERENT. And if someone knows what it is they just love asking you how it feels... Yes you can buy many bikes, but this bike is falling into that category of "Regardless of how much money you have, you may NEVER find one to buy...

    Rick, the video was very nice , you're pretty good with this narrated content format. Small thing, but you might need to check next time how to avoid this much shaking on the video when you handheld your camera, even the ride footage had more stability.

    I’ve been looking for one here in Poland for years. They’re very rare, especially here. Also, the aftermarket is nonexistent. Such a shame, I really hope Husqvarna brings it back one day :(

    • @RickChardet
      @RickChardet  4 місяці тому +1

      Seems like the best bet is to import one from Germany. Sadly I doubt Husqvarna will ever produce one again, or that it'll just be another rebranded ktm duke like the svart/vitpilen lineup

    • @axamitidynamit8355
      @axamitidynamit8355 4 місяці тому

      @@RickChardet yeah, bringing one in from Germany is the best option, I guess. But then again, you can’t really check it beforehand so it might happen that you go 2,000 km + 2,000 km back for nothing, which kinda scares me a bit.

      Im one of the few nuda 900r owners in pl. I have other bikes but this I tell you would never go for sale, it’s masterpiece. Market doesn’t exist as it is really special bike. Once you ride it you would get the felling. People are also looking for nuda for parts. I’m currently looking for second one just for this reason.
