@@PopsRacer61 The other motorcycle I'm really interested in is the new Honda cb650r or cbr650r with the e-clutch system. You mentioned you own one, how do you like your Honda cbr650r? How is the riding position/ ergonomics. I don't know if I can handle a really Leaned Forward riding position.
@@dougmaverick3287 I bought my Ninja in 2018, bcs I never had a 2 cyl. My bikes were always 4 cyl. I kept it bcs it's the most comfortable sports bike I ever been on (it's not a super sport). Ppl sleep on the Ninja 650... not realizing it's quicker than most bikes from 0-50 or 60mph (between 3.0 &3.8 secs). Of course after 2nd gear most super sports or the CBR 650, will leave it in the dust. I love the buttery smooth 4 cyl in the Honda (2023) ..I don't use a clutch after 1st gear I've been clutchless shifting since 1985 😁..so I have no need for the e-clutch! My son's ZX4rr has a quick shifter and shifting is effortless without the clutch! The Honda is an excellent bike but I ride it no more than an hr because of the slight lean. I can ride my Ninja all day. The CB 650 doesn't have quite the lean! 🦾
@@PopsRacer61 Thanks. I'm a Formula 1 fan of the V10 & V12 engines that used to rev to 19,000 RPM era, and I really love the screaming sound of a high revving inline 4-cylinder motorcycle engine, it's very intoxicating. I don't know if my body can take the somewhat aggressive riding position of the ZX-4RR, even though it's not as Extreme as the ZX6R or 10R. Have you ever ridden the Honda CB650R retro Cafe motorcycle? I was hoping Kawasaki would put that same engine from the ZX-4RR into a naked bike style and call it a Z400RS. ua-cam.com/video/PTMfaZFD53g/v-deo.htmlsi=s9Ov3cLmVF8iq7nX
@@dougmaverick3287 ..I never rode a replica cafe' style bike but I have been on some very uncomfortable bikes. In fact my son also has a 2009 R6 tucked away in the back of his garage. (he's supposed to be restoring it to original condition) It does run and I rode it around the block, and it's absolutely a track bike, very uncomfortable for an old head like me! The ZX4 is the only bike I know of where you can rev it to 14 or 15k rpms, and make it scream bloody murder, without killing yourself doing 175 mph
Riding like that, as much fun as it is, on a road like that, traffic an all. I don't think it makes much difference whether you ride the 4 or the 6,you will no doubt come to a sticky end. And I don't want to slag off anyone's riding skills, it's just other road users, blind corners at those speeds, all you need is a HGV taking up too much of the road and where are you gonna go. I know thinking like that is a bit of a buzz kill, but he who rides, and uses his head, then walks away, lives to ride another day. Keep your high speed riding for the track and if not, at least use a road where you can best see what's round the corner. I know this is not a popular view with many riders, it's just I really like bikes and their riders, older riders always have the best tales, but you have to get older to tell them.
The level of trust in the road surface is insane. In Poland, we have so many potholes that you'd probably launch into space multiple times.
@@_tommus hahaha! Use the track instead.
So the moral of the story is why get a ZX6R when it's Overkill, and a ZX-4RR is just as quick and just as fun in the twisties.
Yep....EXACTLY!! My son just bought a ZX4rr. Me, the old man rides a Ninja 650 & CBR 650. Both are good enough for me on the streets👁
