Hi @salesforceemily , Thanks for the information. I have a doubt about this forwarding logic. What if I am implementing a email service in Salesforce which is used to process the incoming email in Salesforce using apex class. Do I need to modify the forwarding rule in Gmail to forward it to email created in Email service or to the routing email generated in email-to-case setup page?
I liked your video, but it's not exactly what I'm looking for. I'm wondering if there's a way to have Salesforce email a potential client who has filled in a "Contact Us" form on our website. We've integrated the Web-to-Lead feature so SF is generating a lead for us when they complete the Contact Us form. But is there a way to also email this new lead (automatically) letting them know that we'll be in touch with them shortly? Can you point me to a tutorial or UA-cam video on this? Many thanks!
Hi Emily, can you please tell me do we have a way to create email to case in a situation where emails are already present in my gmail and I need them to become cases in salesforce, do we have any third party app for the same
Hello Emily just a quick question, can I use the same email address to route the email to case with that of the case owner? We want several agents to receive their emails as cases in the org, so each time a client send an email to one of our service reps the email is sent to salesforce with the agent as the case owner
Not the tutorial you're looknig for? Let me know in the comments!

For case originating from email to case, How to get clients first and last name from email ?
Unfortunately you would need code. Specifically an email handler. Check the app exchange to see if they have any on there.
