W123 Mercedes B2 Piston Removal

The transmission on my 300td started to slip when taking off. Let’s replace the B2 piston and seals.

IT seems to me dropping the tranny would make it easier? I have dropped two in my life and they come out reasonably easy with extensions and wobble sockets leaving the engine in. Why do you say you need to pull the engine with the tranny?I have not heard that so I just pulled the tranny. I also have a slipping first gear and it even makes a noise when it slips but it has done this for many years and if I dont try to make a fast start it doesn't slip. do you think the B2 piston in mine needs replacement?

My 85 has a slip off the line from a dead stop , just showed up ,,, its second gear or if placed in D low

My 190e 2.6 auto transmission, reverse works fully fine, when put in D, 2, 3 car doesn’t wanna move forward at all, when put in D the rpm’s go down and it engages gear but doesn’t move forward at all, is this also a sign of this piston went bad?
