Over the holidays I was on my usual junk'n trip in a little charity shoppe in the middle of nowhere. They operate only with the kindness of volunteers. This particular day there were two new women there. During the holidays they switch off more often (just to give the others a break) ANy who, while I was checking out the coats; one of the ladies from the counter started freaking out and frantically walking back and forth around the store. I wondered if there was a fire or someone injured or what. Turned out; as the whole store could hear; she accused a youngish man of coming in and grabbing a bag of goods that they store in a back room for to give out to those in need during Christmas, and left. I listened and gritted my teeth and hesitated and wondered if I should intervene. You see, I saw the man come in the front door with the bag. He came in right after I did and he smiled and said excuse me. Sadly I told myself to just mind my business. However, I heard my Grandma's voice in my head telling me, " if you know something and don't say something to help someone; you may need someday and no one will." How would that feel? So, I very gingerly spoke up and said, I can put your mind at ease, I know for 100 that the man you're talking about "came IN with the bag". One of the other resellers said right time right place and for sure you guys were in the right place at the right time. I get these gut feelings to go to my Goodwill and I always find something outstanding. I found a set of four wine goblets from Lauren Ralph Lauren that were selling on eBay for $399. I also found on another trip Tommy Bahama wine glasses with the etched palm trees someone was selling them for $399 for a set of four. Great score on the LuLulemon.
Holy cow! I feel bad for the cashier, but there are lessons to be learned here. In no way, should they have been discussing and correcting the cashier in front of customers. I live in Knoxville. I wouldn't waste your time at our KARM thrift stores. Overpriced. Goodwill is pretty bad as well but they are more likely to miss things. Can't wait to learn from what you find here!!
You're telling RESELLERS not to waste their time. Thats BS. What about the people that actually use it the way it was intended. To offer used items at lower prices that normally some people couldn't afford. I'm glad to see resellers being priced out.
@@sttdb3780 Excuse me but I am correct. They are overpriced for what it was intended for. They need to quit pricing items on a global market and sell for the purpose the say in their mission statement. Items would move faster and inventory from the back would be on the floor quicker. It's real simple.....Thrift stores have way less people shopping then say Ebay. Price items for our market. I know what I'm talking about! Thank you!
Can I just say I love you guys have each of you .But Kayla your personally have always been nice but you are so happy you both look so happy ❤.thank you both for your videos
You had me scared. The thumbnail implied you were accused of stealing from Goodwill. 😂 26:10 I don't know if it's official, but that's definitely a Jimmy Buffett shirt. In the pictures are references to several of his most well known songs, like Margaritaville, Fins, and Cheeseburger in Paradise. The quote is from Changes in Attitudes, Changes in Latitudes, and his fans call themselves Parrotheads. You should include the keywords Jimmy Buffett, Parrothead, and Margaritaville.
Goodwill has an amazing business model. All of your inventory is given to you for free, and you pay people next to nothing under the guise of providing "valuable training," because everyone thinks they're some sort of charity.
The vac you showed where you had skin dust in it. Hairdressers use them in their salons to suck up hair and debri. And the little makeup pouch you showed. My mom made me one like that to make my prom dress in the mid '80's, they were so beautiful.
I think you two are sweet together! I always enjoy watching your videos. Our thrift stores here in Knoxville are not that great. They look everything up. It's hard to find deals. Come back during yard sale and flea market season. Usually, they are much better!
Ketchup cleans up silver plated so well and you can get a buffer tool that’ll attach to your drill and buff out all the scratches. Not that you wanna put all that work into a resale but for anyone that has silver plated items!
Im halfway between Lexington and Knoxville...it seems like Knoxville is always advertising yardsales and estate sales online like everyday..nxt time might wanna check some out.
The last time I went to the goodwill I got 8 Waterford wine goblets signed and with tags for 2.99 each and 4 wine goblets from France also marked for 2.99 each plus I had a 20% coupon!
Is this y’all’s only job? If so that is so amazing to be able to hit the road together and do what you love!!! Keep it fun and always stay together. ❤️
Goodwill's CEO makes millions off of disabled people and donated stuff. We have a place called Lake Country Caring where people can get donated items like sheets, clothing, furniture, wall hangings and bedroom sets. And it's not crap either as the area I live in is very affluent. Million dollar homes are the norm around the lakes in my area as there's over 30 lakes in the area. It's called Lake Country for a reason. Lol
Old tape recorders often have an unstable, warbley playback due to the rubber drive belt having sat in the same place for decades; it develops a fixed bend in it which alters the playback rate when the 'bend' goes around the pulley.
Shoes here in so cal goodwill charge about 9.99 ~ 14.99 and some good one they charges 19.99 or 24.99 depending on the condition. There's nothing priced .99 or 1.99. Everything is 2.99 and up
I don't know what "lulu" clothing is. Must be something in your area or ebay? Asked my daughter about this clothing line and it was marketed by women who were trying to make extra cash. I guess kind of like selling avon or tupperware. I shop in goodwill and prices are so high now. Possibly because of resellers. I don't know. Now I understand the "running" to the new rack. saw that once too. to each his own.
Don't skip on silver anymore. Just got out my 30 yr old goblets to use for daughter's engagement party at tge last hour. No Tarnex to be found. Used a bucket lined with aluminum foil, sprinkler baking soda, poured in enough boiling water to cover them. Turned out better than new!! I was shocked!! Wiped off with old Tshirt. Hope this helps!!

I’m an OG sub to Matt’s channel (subbed to both obviously now), but together you two are my all time favs! Keep shining sweet couple! You guys are so adorable 🙏🙏🫶
You guys always amaze me with your finds!!!
That Buffet tee was a great find! Now I got Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes stuck in my head
Yes....Fins Up on the back. Have a Caribbean Soul tee collection from years of Buffett concerts. Will always love Jimmy Buffett.
You guys are so much fun to watch! Amazing finds. I am always rooting for you!!
So glad I found this channel now I can't stop watchin lol trying to learn from you guys! As a single mom it's good side hustle or main hustle finding good sales and reselling it's fun! And profitable sometimes and can take my daughter along while shopping around and be at home with her while working ❤
Hi Kayla and Matt 👋🙂❤️ Have a beautiful day
Now that’s awesome…..you got EXACTLY 90% off!!!!!!!! I CANNOT WAIT FOR MORE, I’m so excited!!!!!
I live in Knoxville. I wouldn't waste your time at our KARM thrift stores. Overpriced. Goodwill is pretty bad as well but they are more likely to miss things. Can't wait to learn from what you find here!!
AmVets are the best thrift stores. Good luck!
A fun & happy vibe vlog...🎉🛍🛒😍🎁🎒🚙
I’m really curious to see what they find in Knoxville.
Thank you!
Goodwills in Knoxville are AWFUL. KARM thrift stores has a monopoly in that area.
you're lucky...our Goodwills put all the Lululemon in the boutique section and charge 24-29 dollars for them. Rarely one sneaks through.
Can I just say I love you guys have each of you .But Kayla your personally have always been nice but you are so happy you both look so happy ❤.thank you both for your videos
Wow, what a way to start a road trip. I love your videos. Y'all are such an adorable couple. 🙏♥️🙏♥️🙏
You had me scared. The thumbnail implied you were accused of stealing from Goodwill. 😂
26:10 I don't know if it's official, but that's definitely a Jimmy Buffett shirt.
You can clean tarnish off silver-plate. Get some Wright’s Silver Cream. I use it on my silver-plate flatware all the time.
I haven't been watching reseller videos In forever. Glad to see you guys
I love how you work together👏👍👏
Wow amazing Hall I can't believe they accused those people of stealing but you're right the truth lies somewhere in the middle.
I meant haul! Lol😮
Y’all are adorable! Love to learn from ya’ll. It’s a beautiful thing to watch people love their work ❤
Both of you guys wigging out in the middle of Goodwill over LuLu shorts too funny🤣😂plus drama better than any tv show! 👍
We live in Knoxville. Stay away from Karm, they are the most expensive thrift stores ever. Head towards AmVets.
If you find non silver candle sticks use a little of olive oil on a soft cloth and use in a corner to test first
I think you two are sweet together! I always enjoy watching your videos. Our thrift stores here in Knoxville are not that great. They look everything up. It's hard to find deals. Come back during yard sale and flea market season. Usually, they are much better!
My daughter lived in Lexington for 6 years. She worked at the Children's Theatre. I did visit several times. I love it there..
if i am not mistaking they have one of the goodwill outlets in Knoxville idk for sure........what a lulu jackpot !
I live 5 minutes from Knoxville!! Just started watching. Anxious to see if I recognize any of the Goodwill’s you go to!!
Ketchup cleans up silver plated so well and you can get a buffer tool that’ll attach to your drill and buff out all the scratches. Not that you wanna put all that work into a resale but for anyone that has silver plated items!
I have family in the Knoxville area and can't wait to see what you find there, and on the way, too.
Enjoyed this style of video. Cool music playing at the end while showing your listing prices!
Great finds and video! Thank you both for brightening my evening. You make me smile!
Is this y’all’s only job? If so that is so amazing to be able to hit the road together and do what you love!!! Keep it fun and always stay together. ❤️
One of my orders a while back from an ebay seller included a similar snowman as a gift. Really love it!
Awesome video today! Goodwill for the win. The LuLu haul OMGoodness! Love the content! You two are hilarious!
What an amazing haul guys. Y'all really racked up on LuLu shorts.
Hi Kayla and Matt another great video!❤ Can't wait for more.Blessing your friend Joyce from California HUGS!❤
Lol
Our stores are to pricey in upstate of South Carolina!
Kayla and Matt, great haul😊
Old tape recorders often have an unstable, warbley playback due to the rubber drive belt having sat in the same place for decades; it develops a fixed bend in it which alters the playback rate when the 'bend' goes around the pulley.
Kayla, that was so fun shopping with you. Can’t wait till our next stop.
Just started watching you guys a couple of weeks ago and I’m hooked! I think I’m going to give it a try up here in Maine
Shoes here in so cal goodwill charge about 9.99 ~ 14.99 and some good one they charges 19.99 or 24.99 depending on the condition. There's nothing priced .99 or 1.99. Everything is 2.99 and up
Holy cow ! That was an amazing score on all those shorts Kayla !!
"Little" is definitely the word you both use the most!! 🤣🤣
Great buys! Great fun! Thx for sharing.
Do you ever do videos of what your finds actually sell for? I would be very interested in that. Love watching you guys!
I love the fact that you have his picture on your phone! So cute!❤
Love that you caught some drama at the goodwill. lol. Great finds.
Y’all should do a segment showing/touring your death piles (if you have one). Did y’all schnag a schnack when you got hungry?
I don't know what "lulu" clothing is. Must be something in your area or ebay? Asked my daughter about this clothing line and it was marketed by women who were trying to make extra cash. I guess kind of like selling avon or tupperware. I shop in goodwill and prices are so high now. Possibly because of resellers. I don't know. Now I understand the "running" to the new rack. saw that once too. to each his own.
The Lulu they are referring to is lululemon, a high end athletic wear brand with stores in most larger cities. Your daughter is talking about Lularoe.
thank you@@sarabethsells
Luv watching videos from the both of you!!
Do you guys get the discount stamp cards? Florida has them, they stamp it for every $20’s spent. When it’s full you get 20% off entire purchase.
Toothpaste works well
Thanks for the info!
I enjoy watching you Kayla and Matt.
