Now I love my angst, which is why I adore Michael and Alex so much. But I am kind of confused as to why they have literally had two scenes together this season, like short scenes. And both of them weren’t nice scenes between the two of them. It’s very different from their interactions of the second season even. I love them together but it would be nice to see them working together, instead of Alex always coming across as cold. Because then that causes Michael to lash out. I do believe that Alex is probably trying to protect Michael if he thought DS was involved, But giving Michael a heads up would’ve made sense. I love this show, and I actually enjoy all the characters all except Maria, but I actually hated the OG Maria I just Find her character incredibly annoying. It would just be nice to see Michael and Alex actually working together kind of like they did in season two.
Like real life, it's all about tone. Alex could've said the exact same lines w/o the venom & Michael would've realized Alex was just trying to protect him. I get it, Malex is beyond tired of the back & forth of this almost/possibly/maybe/not right now 'relationship' (hell me too ........get on w/it writers!).......honest & open communication would do SO much for these two🤦🏾♀️......my head hurts.......& I suspect watching tonight's ep won't help it🤕
Malex! Vlamburn have the best chemistry. Not really impressed with Michael throwing Alex' line about 'burning the world down for him' back in Alex' face, and using it to suggest Alex doesn't care about Maria and Kyle. Like bitch what? Maria and Kyle are Alex' family, don't throw them in Alex' face because he didn't react the way you wanted him to. Sometimes it is hard to understand why Michael even loves Alex, he doesn't seem to know the man at all. It would be nice to see a little bit of faith from Michael. I think Alex has earned that.
ughhhhh disagree. Alex shows zero compassion to Michael. They are both annoying at this point and their relationship is quite exhausting at this point. But based on this clip, Michael is trying to provide an olive branch and Alex gives him absolutely nothing to go on. Michael is quick to lash out, but my god Alex shows no kindness to Michael like 90% of the time.
@@spinepress6653 Disagree all you want. My perception of this scene won't change. Michael stans can come at me all day. I love Michael and Alex, but I call them like I see them. Michael is being a brat here. Alex doesn't owe Michael anything. He is being cold, because he knows that DS could be a real threat to Michael and his siblings. Alex is protecting Michael here. Alex needs more info on what kind of place DS is, before he starts sharing info that could put the aliens in harms way. Michael is just being a dick because he doesn't like that Alex turned him down.
@@elliotastound3623 interesting POV. I’m hardly a Michael stan but my personality is closer to his than to Alex so I just understand how he behaves. And Alex to me often comes off cold and rude which exasperates Michael’s insecurity. I’m also a bit tired of the writing. I think we have seen the two personalities clash a lot and to stay invested in their relationship they both need to soften. Hope that happens.

But if he loves Michael enough to "burn the world down" to find out who hurts him, he actually does "owe" Michael something. And that is, at the very least, not to wound him further by pushing his emotional buttons that Alex knows too well. He may not be able to share what he knows but he doesn't have to make what are actually his concerns come across as more rejection. It is the same old push-and-pull Alex that drove Michael to Maria. After S2, was looking forward to S3, since the only reason this series was even interesting in the first place was Malex. But other than YT compilations - of which there are so FEW because they have had scenes that might add up to 5 minutes altogether up to this point - have stopped watching after the first episode. The fault is in the writing.
I really love them and want to see them together but they really have to cool down a little bit with each other
