2024 - Ep 6 - Meadowbrook Orchards Disc Golf Course

Brian "Papa Wolf" Frawley recently visited Meadowbrook Orchards Disc Golf Course while he was at the Northeast Disc Golf Expo. Meadowbrook Orchards is a generational apple orchard outside of Boston, where they feature a great restaurant, amazing baked good, cool crafts and of course a fantastic disc golf course!

This has to be the best “if you build it, they will come”stories ever. I played golf, hacked the ball for 30 years. There’s a disc golf course behind my backyard that was established in 2012. From 2012-2022 I kinda made fun of disc golf from time to time. I took 24 hour care of my mother almost the last year of her life, she passed away 8-30-22. My coworker hounded me for 3 months to try disc golf. I took a chance out of desperation 12-12-22 and it was the best decision I’ve made in a very long time. I’ve thrown disc every day since then. I appreciate the hell out both of you, that I got to hear this story, it reminds me of mine and that reminds me of my mother! Thanks!
