I bag all westside. The bear is one of my faves. But the number one I recommend is the stag a less stable bear just dead straight point and shoot

I currently don't throw a discraft disc but have been really thinking of putting a buzzz in the bag.

I've really started to lean on my Discraft Predators lately. I've got a few 2017 DGLO ones with different levels of wear to get a variety of flights!

My favorite Discraft mold is the Archer. One Yellow Big Z Archer, two aces, same hole on my local course. 🥏

I have several Discraft in my bag. Heat is the only one on this list. Buzzz SS. Luna, Jawbreaker Focus, TeeBird, Avenger SS. Mix in some Innova for comparison sake.

Great interview. I met Leonard in 1978 when I visited Ferris State campus. He recruited me to play Ultimate frisbee for the team. He was as an awesome player and a fantastic coach. We still get together to play a "retro" round of disc golf using UltraStar discs.

These classics are the best and that's solid advice. I've never thrown the Panther, always too worried it would go OOP I've played 20 years and disc subtleties may go un-noticed my beginners. What is also good for new players is to look at the flight numbers, understand what that third number, high speed turn looks like, and see which discs they can make do that. Hint - bigger negative number and lower speed = easier to turn to the right

Nice stuff, makes me wanna try tournaments for sure. The Valkyrie is definitely my favorite mold, still using my great find at Great Lakes in the used section
