  • This time I go over how to delete the carb magnetic switches on your carb machines. In this case it is a 1996 ZRT 600. The book I had to reference is the 1997 race manual, and everything appeared the same. SO, this should hopefully work for yours also. Might have been kind of a dumb one, you might say that was easy to know and figure out. You're correct! Now there is a video that tells you have to delete the magnetic switches, but also how the system works and how to bypass it.
I apologize for the grainy image of the manual when I go over that. If there is interest from people for me to upoload that somehow, please let me know and I'll see if i cant get that online for all of you.
As alwasy; check out my Ebay site for any parts you might need. If i dont have it listed, please make sure to ask as i might have one in house just not listed yet.

Can't believe I only found this now. My carb wires are cut on my 96 ext powder special. I'll have to into this a little further now. Not even sure what questions to ask at this point. New to this game. Many thanks Longtin!

I have an 04 800 efi Mountain Cat...it only has 600 miles. I thought I had a bad tss because it was bogging out at about 4k...so I deleted the tss... but then it kept bogging out, and so I thought it was a bad TPS, but I heard it was a nightmare to calibrate, so I replace the entire throttle body. Now, it won't start... maybe I did something wrong with the install...it seems like it's not pumping fuel 🤷‍♂️ have you done a Throttle body replacement yet? I'm going to look for it.

You'll need the TPS for it to run. Calibration can be tricky. Haven't done yet myself but understand the process I guess.
Far as complete throttle body replacement; should be plug and go!
