The reason I've heard other people say for why The Nightmare Before Christmas doesn't have a sequel is because Tim Burton would only make one if it was done in Stop Motion like the first one but Disney refused and wanted it to be animated.
Also for me, the Stitched in Style Frankie and Howliday Skelita came in sealed shipper boxes but Frankie was dented in the corners like that and the Skelita was dented on the sides, despite the shipper box and even the tissue paper looking pristine. I don't get it.
The reason there’s no sequels is because Tim Burton has actually stated that he will never do sequels to any of his movies because he sees each movie as a work of art and it’s hard to recreate and remake art. The only sequels he has done was Through the Looking Glass, because of a contract Tim had with Disney. He actually didn’t want to even make Through the Looking Glass. And now there is a Beetlejuice 2 coming out which will be the second sequel that Tim has made, but the first he willing made. Which probably wouldn’t have ever happened if he wouldn’t have ever met Jenna Ortega for Wednesday. (I say that because Jenna is now one of the main Tim Breton actors, and he casted her as Lydia’s daughter in the upcoming Beetlejuice 2)

I am 23 and i got a Barbie because of the Barbie movie and after one year wait i got Draculaura for 36 euros, they ate expensive here in Europe. Happiness has no age, collecting dolls is a great hobby. I makes me very happy and what others say is irrelevant. It can be expensive, as long as you are a responsible buyer that is fine.

I also saw the one scalper who was able to buy so many of these sets is the reason why I'm not only upset for the collectors who wanted these didn't get them but also the fact that Mattel Creations knows that this is an issue with 99% of the drops have been a scalper/bot problem since day one and they probably allow it to happen

I’m actually shocked that someone got so many of these. It’s really unbelievable that Mattel can’t stop scalpers and I don’t understand, unless they have tons of bots, how they get so many. I wasn’t able to, but am hoping at some point I will be able to. Even with the box damage, which is annoying, at least you have them. I really love Sally, and think they did a great job with her 💜

And looking at the listings available for me I'm probably going to have to pay €230+ before taxes to get them :/ right pissed about the whole thing. I did everything "right" for a drop like this. Tim Burton owns the rights to the characters, that's why there is no sequel. I also agree there was no chemistry between Jack and Sally, I never bought their romance. I would love a Coprse Bride set, now that couple didn't end up together but their were sparks between Emily and Victor.

Tim Burton is typically against sequels, and Henry Sellick (who directed Coraline, James and the Giant Peach and NBC - the last two Tim Burton was a producer for and pitched the ideas) has no interest in a Coraline 2 as there is no sequel book to base it on. The moment you said ParaNorman shouldn’t get a set I was instantly like “but Angie in her scary form and Norman in a two pack 🥲” then I remember that will require them having to make new bodies since they are actual kids opps- tbh a part of me doesn’t want them to make my fave Corpse Bride only because I *will* cry for weeks on end knowing that I will never be able to get my hands on it with the way the stupid website is going.
