I never watched this guy. But there are big comparisons here with Etika such as being super edgy and cutting people off and having this "untouchable god" persona. I just hope he gets his mind right and he doesn't end up taking his life like Etika. I know it hurt me to bits when we lost Etika because of how much he inspired me so I can't imagine the feeling of losing one of the OG's of the 2K community. Hope he gets well soon.

He's having a breakdown and delusions of grandeur... He needs someone to get to him in person before it's too late! We're powerless to help him. He unfollowed me and replied to my dm with complete nonsense and has blocked multiple people who have reached out to help. I really do hope he's okay because from my experience with him in person, he was a really nice guy!

I don't think you guys realize how tough Gento had it coming up, his family kicked him out of his home when he was 16ish, and then now they're trying to get back in contact with him (which he obviously rejected). I feel really bad because nobody understands his background and how nice of a guy he really is, and doesn't understand why he is acting like this.

I think we need the 2k community (Such as Cash, Shakedown, Chris Smoove, 2HYPE, etc.) to bring more awareness to this situation. Just due to the fact that Gento is an OG and someone we all respect(ed). We don’t want him to be the next Etika. I genuinely want him to get help cuz he seemed like a good dude from what I saw in his videos. (Don’t forget to pray for him as well)

Man I used to watch his 2k videos dating back to nba 2k16 especially his pack openings. Starting from his very first pack opening in 2k16, I have now become a fan of him. But now, its a damn shame that we see a change of his character lately. We all have personal issues/struggles including myself. Even though it may be tough, there's always a bright side to everything and its just about finding it. I hope he finds his bright side. I also hope he does some soul searching and get his mind right as well before its too late.

This is what appears to be someone losing their mind. I know all too well because my brother committed suicide years back and this is how he started talking at one point. Not making sense at all and very similar sentence structure if that makes any sense. Someone contact this man's family and get him some help...before it is too late. Mental health is no joke.
