The roads in Alabama & Georgia are 10x better than the roads we have here in Texas! We too a trip to Georgia and once you hit the Alabama line the roads change instantly! You can see the difference before you get to it. Smooth as glass and not one coke can or candy wrapper in sight! Very clean roads!
try to push 4th and 5th gear changing at 7000 / 7500 rpm, the 6th will have more torque, if you have unlocked the governor you will go easily over 130 mph 😉
I haven't had the ECU flashed or tuned yet, but I will in a couple months. Will definitely try shifting higher in the rev range though, thanks for the tip.
It's my ABS light. I messed up the rear ABS sensor when I was changing my tires awhile back. You're the only person who's mentioned it so far, good eye!
I slight time and this could easily reach 140. I’m looking at either this or a Harley. I’m coming off a cbr600 and I just want something else that I can cruise on

I appreciate the feedback, and agree that Yammie Noob made a good choice switching to classical. I'll definitely keep that in mind moving forward. To answer your question, for longer cruising the Scout is just fine anywhere from 110 kph to 145 kph. There's no excessive vibration, and you still have room for acceleration if you need to pass. The biggest problem the Scout has with longer cruises is the lack of wind protection, and the small gas tank. You will have to stop and refill every two hours or so depending on how you ride.
I got a normal scout. Man these things are fast.
Even on the german Autobahn you cant drive them out wothout an windshield.
man, it's ridiculous how Texas has roads that seem smoother than anything in Tennessee, even interstates. lol

Watch out when you're revved out high in sixth when you kick it down into 5th to engine brake theres sometimes a false neutral which is terrifying
That’s some flat country wherever that is
Great Job, Be safe!
Thanks, will do!
What a beautiful day and bike
Bravo!!
Beautiful bike !!
Excellent !!
Rj Brasil
Nice ride! ..think I have been on that same country road with my bike, looks like Hegar near 290?
Yup, that’s it! Small world out here 🤣
About 125 is all she's got! Plenty fast enough for fun on the back roads!
Dynojet tune got me to 140mph plus I have after market pipes
Sounds like short shifting. The real power is in the higher rpms.
Yeah, on other pulls keeping it around 5K RPM min before shifting has really quickened the pace.
Might wanna check your oil....why is the light on??

My bad, that's the ABS light. But still....

Whoooohooooo!!! :D :D ;D
"Music" is redundant here and annoying. Brilliant bike though
Thanks for the compliment man. What kind of music do think I should use in the future?

In England that road would be a 60mph what is it in the states ?
This is 45 mph here
Max in Texas is 85mph(137kph)
Do you know how much that background music hurts
Only 120mph? What?
Sarcasm?
@@homelesssmurf2814 No. My Harley 48 that is less powerful can make 200kph no problem.
Sure... I'd like to see you do 200 on a 48 lol
@@stuckinpodunk Kilometers per hour. Smartass
All the Scouts come with a 120mph limiter I believe. Scouts and Scout bobbers can hit 120 in 4th gear, with 2 gears to go...
