Thank you!!! It really is a super simple job. Really surprised that the instructions included wanted you to do it the harder way. Thanks for watching and stay safe
I’m sure you are more than capable of doing a lot harder jobs on these bikes!!! Would love to see a Vaquero over there on those roads…preferably with me piloting it…lol!! Thanks for watching and stay safe
Cheers from Pennsylvania in the US. It’s a super easy install and I think a good upgrade to make. Can never have enough ability to charge something!!! Thanks for watching and stay safe
Doesn’t get any easier than that. Well done on your first install. Detail, tips, and tricks always helps. Crazy the instructions say take off the fairing. Ride safe 🤙🤙
Good install! The instructions are nuts. I did the iPod adapter, cigarette lighter, and the auxiliary lights on my Vaquero, all without removing the fairing. The aux. lights are fun - ship in a bottle style. Wish I'd filmed that... it was a few hours of scratching my head and figuring it out :D
Wow I can’t imagine doing the aux lights without taking the fairing apart. First time I took the fairing off, I thought I was in over my head but it turns out it was such an easy thing to do. I just knew it would be easier to remove the glove box for the plug. Thanks for watching and stay safe
@@GoofyBastard Dude, I stared at the instructions for several minutes, in their black & white glory, and said NOPE. Looked online, found out about the SIAB technique, but there were no instructions, just "do it without taking the fairing off - remove the cubbies" and off to the races I went!
Great install video bud. Mine came with one already, but I love seeing what's behind the outer shell of things before I'm ever forced to do it myself. If mine ever dies, I know it's an easy fix now. I only ever use my USB plug to charge my phone (especially if I'm using navigation) and I've got a nice little air pump that I bought just for my last bike. Works great, you can set the pump for whatever psi you'd like and it'll cut off automatically. Small package, and runs off the cigarette plug. Keep that quality content coming.
Next I might drill a small hole in the back of my right glove box to route my charging cord up the bars to my phone mount. So it's always available, but hidden. Think you just gave me a GREAT idea !!
You ain’t seen nothing until you pull that fairing apart!! It really is an easy install and such a quick one as well if you ever need to change yours out. I just couldn’t believe that the instructions would tell you to do it the other way. The air pump definitely sounds like something I should maybe throw in the bags for an emergency situation. Thanks for watching and stay safe
Thank you sir! I did that as my first install cause it was so easy. Wonder how it’s gonna go with more difficult ones! Thanks for watching and stay safe
Thank you sir!!! OEM are so much easier…no cutting or splicing!!! Now the flux capacitor, that I had to take the fairing off for….lol. Thanks for watching and stay safe
"I read the directions... Do not follow the directions" 😂😂 Those directions are for the dealership service dept so they can charge you 3 hours to install the plug lol
I wouldn’t doubt that at all. Anything to make an extra buck! It’s such a shame that someone who doesn’t know would follow the instructions and this 5 minute job would take them 2 hours!! Thanks for watching and stay safe
Well done brother! Still trying to catch up with everyone. Congratulations on your first install video! You’ll probably get a whole new crowd of followers that have the Vaquero. I agree about buying cheap parts for the most part however my Chinese knockoff headlights are still going strong lol 😂. The vaquero is one badass machine 🤙💯❤️
I wish my cheap ass headlight was still going strong. Still trying to figure out what to do about that. I can only hope that I can get a couple followers outta this. Gonna have to start buying some expensive parts to install and maybe get a couple more…lol. Thanks for watching and brother and stay safe!!!
Simple install. Yeah, it seems like everything for Kawasaki, even the Clymer repair manual, is more complicated than it needs to be. Seems like almost everything starts with...first remove the seat, then remove the gas tank, detach all the fuel lines and power cords from tank...etc. I think some new rider looking for proper air pressure in the rear tire would first have to take off the seat, remove the gas tank....Hahahahahaha. Good job.
I honestly feel sorry for someone who didn’t know better and followed the instructions. That’s just crazy!!!! Making a simple job that difficult!!! Thanks for watching and stay safe
That has to be one of those, let's make it look difficult as possible on paper so they will bring it in to the dealer, I think they call that job security lol.
It’s unreal how they tell you to do it in the instructions when it’s so much easier to do it the way I did. I’d hate to see what they would try to charge someone to do it!! Thanks for watching

Woo hoo! First install video? Congratulations!
Thank you!!!

Easy peasy! I always try to go with OEM, because they fit right and they work. Great job on your install! Eric
Exactly!!! I didn’t have to cut any wires or modify something to fit!! It’s just much better!! Thanks Eric for watching!!!!
Cheaper is not always better! You looked at the directions? 😂 Well, that's good for everyone else who's watching this video and doing the install! 🤗
Oh totally agree with you!!! I learned that with the headlight. I did look at the instructions and I just couldn’t believe them!!!
Good install!
Thanks bro!!! Hope you found yourself a spot to be able to get out and ride today!! Thanks for watching and stay safe
Damn that looked super simple
It seriously was super simple….so simple I did the install video twice (no audio on the first try). Thanks for watching and stay safe
well that's a handy little upgrade!

Is the left hand side the same with the wires already there to put a charge port on the left and right?
I’m not exactly sure what the left side connections look like, but they are the ones for the aux lights. Thanks for watching
