Good Content! All those 4k+ people watching the videos hit that like button, there is not a lot of people who does Vaquero videos. so show the sister some love
Great install video!! I know it takes a while to do 2,346 wire connections, lol! Thanks for using our products! A couple of observations that could help some of your viewers: The rubber gasket around the radio face should be transferred to the SingleDIN faceplate for a better fit into the dash. Also, we are an authorized dealer to sell the SWI-RC1 and our kit INCLUDES the am/fm antenna extension. Great bike mods, ,keep them coming!
Thanks for checking it out! I read that note about the rubber gasket on FB right before I closed up the bike so I’m glad I caught it. Lol. Love your products! Thank you!! 🤗
This is a daunting task! One that would even pause a person use to installing radios and give them second thoughts! You did this like a queen! Most important thing is take your time with soldering. Check and double check the wiring. Do them one at a time. You did GREAT!!!
Good job, I like them, you gave me work with the radio but you didn't give details about the lights, I installed a led strip, where did you get the lights?
When you installed the PAC did you need 200 or 300 ohm resistors to the Grn/Red wire? On the output side of the PAC what happens with the extra blk and brn wires.. Assuming you can remember from 3 years ago... lol
Great videos Rho! It's good to see some hands-on Vaquero videos. I just picked up a Vaquero last month. Gonna do some mods of my own as we head into the winter. Keep those videos coming.
Just came across your videos and so glad I did. As a new Vaquero owner, I've discovered it's hard to find upgrades made for this bike that are "plug and play". It's sad that Kawasaki is using the same radio as they did in 2009 when the Vaquero first came out. Although a great bike, the only thing that has changed since then is the paint. All I initially wanted was a way to stream music from my phone but low and behold Kawasaki decided to quit making the adapter last year that would allow me to connect a Bluetooth adapter to it. Thanks to you and your videos I now have other options. If you ever ride through Augusta, GA hit me up!
Thanks and welcome to the channel!! I 💯% agree. It’s rough not having these kinds of upgrades out the gate but it’s nice that there is there is an option to DIY. Thanks for the support 🤗
hi Rhon, you inspire me to do this to my Voyager .. Thanks soooooooooooooo much for all the detail that you put into your videos.. They are MUCH MUCH appreciated !!!
@RidingWithRho Thank you, I found them but thanks, keep up with the videos - It is nice to see a lady doing things like this. More ladies need to learn from you. Maybe do videos to help them learn . Be safe and have fun 👍
Good info. I upgraded my stock radio to a Kenwood with an amp and new speakers. It sounds great but i have one issue. I have my Ipod plugged into the usb port on the back of the radio and only listen to that music. The Kenwood can see the Ipod and play the music but it shows each song as unknown. it does not display the correct song information. I was wondering if you ran into this issue and if you were able to get it to display correctly? Thanks
Genuinely refreshing to see a chick with a desire to go about a little upgrade in a delightfully logical fashion. Presentation was nice to…simple and easy for people to understand. Nice to watch after I’ve been wrenching on my customers cars all day (mobile mechanic) and they refuse to add 2 quarts of oil after I show and explain the entire reasoning behind why that when your low 2qts you best add 2…smh. Good job keep doin you
I had a question for you.... When installing, did you use the 100 ohm and 300 ohm resistors for the solid green and green/red wires? and where did you decide to ground your wires at? also did you bunch together those 3 green wires for grounding purposes? I know some ppl that decided to merge those wires and just ground 1 wire making it easier. Great video!!!! keep up the content PLEASE!!!
Yes, correct locations for resistors. I grounded here -> drive.google.com/file/d/1J9ftPySthOA_1b-nWYAD52FHN04B_5Cy/view?usp=drivesdk And I did bunch them all together and tighten them down under the bolt in the pic. Appreciate your support 🤗
You have some great videos also I see that you in Carolina and also I would love to meet you one day cause U seem like a very sweet down to earth person also I ride ..And I'm watching your videos and about to watch the one where you up grade your speakers and radio.. Some of the best connectors for this type of thing.... posi loc, or posi tap... they twist on and can be reused... mistake with the twist, no big deal unscrew...
hello vaquero friends. I am French and happy owner I would like to replace my original audio but difficult to find adapters or other explanation here in France. can you give me a link or buy these adapters for the handlebar controls as well as the black cover for the car radio thx a lot
@@RidingWithRho i'm so sorry i need to open my eyes . a question .. it' s possible for you to make for me the modification of new cable..... it's look like very hard job .... and how much for this . PLEAAAAAASE!! 🥺🥺🥺🥺
Thank you! I WISH I could put digital gauges. Lol. I want to but I don’t think I can without some serious wheel reinventing. 🤷🏾♀️ 😂 Thanks for watching!
@@RidingWithRho If they would update that bike to make it modern, since they use the same gauges for over 10 years on 2 models, I would actually buy one because it is a great looking bike. and it's Kawasaki so you know it's good :D I own a Vulcan S

Those solder connectors are the bomb. I use them a lot since my soldering skills rate up there with chimps and dogs!😧😂😂
Thanks for the video keep them coming! We need more riders making videos on a Kawasaki!
I agree! Thanks for watching!
Great video. Very inspiring how you tackle projects. My confidence level goes up after seeing you knock out that install!!

@ridingwithrho8860 Good Evening! Watching your pac-1 install, where did you get your heat stand
Hey Miss! Yo, where can I get that face plate for the aftermarket radio?? Please and thank you…
That’s smart how you turned your watch upside down so it wouldn’t get scratched while working.
You made me go back and watch this. I never noticed. Definitely wasn’t on purpose 😂
Nice work! Thanks for this!
Was the programming the rc-1 easy to do? Did you skip any of the functions? I fixing to try mine out soon. Thanks
Yes and yes

Yes
You have some Mad skills. Subbed.
Thank you! 🤗
hello, I'm trying to redo my system but the wire harness is out of stock is there anywhere else that I can get it
The only place I know that makes them is Engineered Adapters. If he’s out I’m sure he’ll restock soon.
Great content I also love the Vaquero it was my first choice
Thank you 😊
Where did you find the black face plate for your aftermarket receiver?
The link is in the description next to faceplate.
Ok thanks...My bike is going into the shop Monday for a audio upgrade and I want to make sure I have all parts.✌🏾
That’s wasssupp. 👏🏾 I feel you
Is this radio weatherproof like the factory one?
Marine grade. Not waterproof. Have issues in heavy rain… light rain not so much.
Awesome!
Rho youre a badass! Great video!
Haha!! Thank you!! 💪🏾
Thank you you are awesome
Thank YOU!! 🤗🤗
Did you ground your wires? Is it necessary?
Yes and yes. Attached the wires to the frame behind the radio
