Most Len covers of Rin songs are pretty shitty, if you ask me, like Undead Enemy. But this is actually really good, and I enjoy both the original version with Rin and this cover with Len very much. Great job to whoever made this!
Not really. Maybe you've listened to the wrong covers. Tokyo Teddy Bear Len version for example sounds much better than the original. It always depends on the tuner.
They didn't tuned Rin right, which is sad. There are some people who already think she sounds like one of the Alvin and the Chipmunks, and it'll only reinforce this notion. I hope she'll get another song which the crowd loved, like sweet magic or something.

I just realized it says the appends on his glove... :3 And I think that's Rin when the Cold append part plays... Just doesn't sound like Len :o
I guess because Cold append + High notes and a voice effect = Len sounding like Rin.
