Its not a good vs evil but a conflict between 2 hyper eccentric individuals. Director has set a fictional universe where things like this happen. He played cleverly in every scene which has so many layers. Rarely we get to see film where each scene is edgy. Especially when ranbir with earbuds listens to conversation of assassination plot failure and hugs sister and jija expression, everyone's expressions. That scene will be iconic in history of movies.

One of the few disagreements with the movie was the last scene where Rannvijay’s son (Ranbir’s son) is shown running to him and hugging him. This could have been left out, and it would have been good to just leave it at Gitanjali (Rashmika) leaving Rannvijay to show that he truly lost his loved ones and got what he deserved.
