Eduardo Diaz I’ve been rocking these for 2 weeks paired with an SW8, this setup kills everything I’ve ever heard anywhere. I’m blown away and still can’t believe I spent less than $300.
I’ve been using these for 2 weeks. The quality control at Pioneer is superb. No issues so far and I’m pairing these with an SW8. This is the most amazing setup hands down. I own many speakers and usually work with studio monitors, but these are now my main reference monitors. Thank you Andrew Jones for blowing every other speaker company out of the water.
These are AMAZING! I bought 2nd set after hearing the first one. I have one set connected to a vintage Yamaha amp for LPs and one set attached to a newer HK amp for a CD/TV. In both cases - sound is absolutely superb. I have no idea how this was achieved, but these sound a lot better than many much more expensive speakers! Huge Thank you Mr. A. Jones for delivering such an awesome speaker at this price - they should cost a good deal more and would still be worth the price!
WOW I had those speakers before I knew I was an audiophile. I'm going to retire my 20 year old Mission 731i's in for these new Pioneers with a 60 watt T-amp.
Okay, so I've been shopping around for some bookshelf speakers for the better part of a week now, and after countless hours of research, these are what I chose to buy. Many people say that even if these were $200 (twice the price they are currently) they would still blow everything else out of the water at that price point. You know what ended up selling me on them? The fact that I keep hearing break beats in the intros to these videos. Also, I'm using a Pioneer stereo receiver that is older than I am, currently! Can't wait to hear these!
Your speaker has replaced my (twice) modded spica tc-50 which I have owned since '85...and I can tell you this...I am in no hurry to replace them...! very well designed/audiophile quality!
I feel more influenced to buy these speakers now that i know more about the engineer behind the design and his philosophy. i like like how the speaker components are explained. i know nothing about other brands speaker components. pioneer you got me
Never too late to thanks ANDREW JONE to create such a wonderful speaker, not because of the price, its because of the separation, slope, port and cabinet these speaker worth a million, pioneer sp bs22 lr vs kef ls50 that I hav own its such a big big different compairing two of them,
I have the floorstanding version of this in my living room, doing TV (and movie and video game) audio through an early 90's 2 channel technics receiver that was given to me. very low budget and very very VERY good. (and I have other very high budget stereos to compare it to!) Bravo pioneer
They were always out of stock on Amazon most of 2021 and they were going for over $200 on the resale market most to the time. I e-mailed Pioneer (January 2022) to confirm that they haven't been discontinued. They're still in production, but Pioneer doesn't know when they'll be back in stock.
I have a restored "The Fisher 125" stereo with turntable, 75 watts made in 1968 that has a great sound but I've been thinking about getting some smaller speakers. Would these be a good choice for it?
Very overrated. Returned speakers to Amazon. After reading quite a few reviews on these speakers I was convinced they were going to be much better than they were. My receiver has more than adequate power, and I set the crossovers and bass management (for my sub-woofer) correctly. The speakers just didn't cut it.
the engineering design behind this is incredible, the price to value ratio on these speakers is nothing short of amazing. get them!

These speakers sound incredible, they aren't perfect but in certain songs I stopped analyzing the speakers and just enjoyed the music.

Bring em to Europe, Pioneer!
Few years ago they were cheap in UK...
simply perfect!
Hey guys! What recievers are you using with these speakers?
Pioneer VSX 820
VSX 505 & A40
how they compare to jbl loft 40
Yay...first view. BTW, do you have a bluetooth bookshelf speaker?
Second I am!
The SP-SB23W soundbar has Bluetooth.

Extremely overrated for a damn good reason. You probably drove them too hard and are looking for something that can handle more power.
