Grief and depression can immobilize and paralyze a person and add children, it is not surprising. I think the mother did the best she could. Glad these 2 ladies could help.
Now, this is one family that has my complete empathy. The children are all so sweet natured. I hope that they are doing better and are ALL pitching in to help their momma around the home.
What a beautiful family. You can tell this is not out of laziness, this is because of depression and grief. Totally understandable. I'm so glad the programme could help them. I hope they managed to keep it in a livable condition and they're in a better place now

This was a fun video to watch, and it is full of great tips. Thank you for posting this. Sweet family, and I hope that the mother has since then, found more peace of mind and happiness. I had four children, also, and it's tough! However, I always felt that everyone in a family needs to help out to keep a house a home. I think the 18 year old should have stepped up tad more with helping her mother plus to set an example to her siblings. My brother and I were taught from 6 years old to basically tidy our beds. Then taught general cleaning from ages of 8 and onwards.
Some very judgemental posts here. Have you ever heard the saying “walk a mile in my shoes”. The mother has lost her husband and the children have lost their father. There are a thousand different ways bereavement affects people. So, she has a dirty house. Does she batter her children? No. Does she love her children? Obvious when you see them altogether. Kicking someone when they are down is an unworthy way to react to someone who is struggling to get up.
Ola Los Well said. Some people don't find "cleaning all your problems away" therapeutic...or logical but if it helps by all means. No "excuse" for comparing another woman's grief to another.
That is a rude thing to say, everyone grieves differently you know. How would you like it if someone said "then that must mean you and your mam must not have cared very much about your dad, you just kept on going on with life like nothing happened?" Different people cope with death in different ways, don't judge someone or you will also be judged.

"I have to agree with that one" CLEAN UP AFTER HIM HE'S A BABY!!! VERY VERY SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS
What about the teenagers room
Oh my word my heart breaks for the tragedy this family has faced.
Aw uh this one made me cry!
this is no excuse i lost my dad 2 years ago and my mam still kept our house spotless and i helped out
Leah maddison when I get stressed or sad, I clean the house. It's like therapy.
different people react differently
Ola Los Well said. Some people don't find "cleaning all your problems away" therapeutic...or logical but if it helps by all means. No "excuse" for comparing another woman's grief to another.
That is a rude thing to say, everyone grieves differently you know.
How would you like it if someone said "then that must mean you and your mam must not have cared very much about your dad, you just kept on going on with life like nothing happened?"
Different people cope with death in different ways, don't judge someone or you will also be judged.
Chantal Said me too
