with the sheriff after some testing it is about 98% accurate while shift-walking and that means up to 30 meters accurate headshots if your crosshair is on their head somewhat center. The vandal is 95%.
But you should still not shift while shooting too often. It makes you move even slower and makes you basically a statue while still decreasing your accuracy slightly

It's good that there is variation in fps games, I like how valorant introduced abilities adding possibility of new playstyles, the only thing I can't stand and what made me delete valorant was their map layout/design it feels like every map in Val is just another version of inferno, very tight, claustrophobic and very closed in, then I'd rather just play inferno tbh🐓
Valorant was made by people who loved Counter-Strike but didn't like certain aspects of it, so they made their own Counter-Strike with the changes they wanted to see. That's basically what it boils down to.
I think that's very true but also I think they are trying to streamline gunplay and movent in order to put more focus on what makes the game different, the abilities. they don't want you to memorize spray patterns or learning to quick scope. They want you to put your effort into learning to wall, dash, teleport, heal, etc.
Its essentially CS but made more appealing to more casual audiences. The agents and the overall lower barrier to entry make it 10x more appealing to most people than CS, with its grittiness and unforgiving learning curve. Same thing happened with DOTA2 and League of Legends, where one made the barrier to entry simpler. That being said, I think at the highest levels, CS and Valorant are similar when it comes to macro play. CS has its nuance with everyone having access to the same items, whereas Valorant has its nuance with team comps, unique agent utility, and map choice affecting the former two. I hear some people say 'Valorants easier because abilities make it easier', but I just disagree. If anything it adds its own unique, but different, type of depth to CS@@melty4204

League and Dota are also like that, just another company looking at what the other guy is doing and making his own version of it. I have noticed a trend: Team Fortress 2 and Overwatch. Pubg and Fortnite. Monster Hunter and Dauntless. CS:GO and Valorant. Each game/series on the left is an old and loved game. Each game on the right takes inspiration (note, copies a good bit) from the respective games on the left, but adds a cartoony graphic and something new (abilities, events and such).

I pubstop constantly in csgo, but I bottomfrag in valorant. Watching this video I think I figured out why I suck so much, I'm a very movement heavy player, and im very, very aggressive. I rely on the ability too sholder peak, bait shots, and dodge with superior movement and aim. I play with every gun similar too a scout, dodging in and out, trying too be unpredictable. Valorant is designed too destroy my playstyle.
I play both. Val is like a breath of fresh air, something new. I've smoke top mid and molly car for about a thousand times in my lifetime, so something new is appreciated
i played a couple rounds of CSGO last night in a good while. i did decent, then head over to valorant and i was dominating! I feel like if you play CSGO before going to Valorant you get a good warm up, regardless the different styles of both games.
Only for single target engagements. Spray transition is incredibly important for multiple enemy engagements. It is impossible to do so with the guardian due to the inaccuracies.

Thank you for making this video. I was never that good at csgo and I feel like it had something to do with not knowing every mechanic and now that I'm playing valorant, I can properly try to learn an fps game this time.
I think Valorant is distilling CS down to its "battle of wits" to get rid of as much "battle of hand-eye coordination" as possible. This is evidenced in the extreme movement speed reduction when tagging as well as reduced movement speed in general: It follows the rule that "whoever expected the other person, and wasn't expected by the other person, should be the winner". It makes crosshair placement much more important and powerful than flicking or aiming. If Valorant successfully becomes "CS with less emphasis on hand-eye coordination", it's definitely the game for me.
The high requirement for aim is what makes CS the shooter that it is. It's the most raw form of FPS eSports. At the end of the day, an FPS will always be about who can click heads better and no matter how many operators, agents, special abilities you add, it will always be a battle of aim. For example, R6S is probably the definition of an FPS that relies on the brains of the player yet the number 1 player is an aimstar that is known for picking the operator with the best fragging capability. In fact, barely any of the top players are 500iq IGLs that know every single angle in the game. Most top players are aimstars. Valorant, as an FPS, will always be about who can aim better.

you will eventually hit a skill wall where you are going to get destroyed by people with better aim than you though. you can expect someone to pop around a corner but if you have a weak reaction time and a weak grasp on the initial predictable pattern you're going to get wrecked. You will most definitely get by in the lower skill levels with just strategy though

ALSO, the randomness of a spray in valorant is given away slightly before the bullets come out, if you look at the barrel of the gun as it is randomly spraying you can see that the barrel will go in the direction that the spray is ABOUT to go, so you can counteract it
You do realize that by making movement and shooting easier you have to be more precise and rely on your aim more right? So basically people are better aimers in valorant. I consistently find myself having to headshot people or die instead in engagement.
@@brianjc720 Relying on aim is what most people prefer since its what most people do anyway. It being easier to aim doesn't make people "better" aimers. It simply easier because there are fewer things to account for. I didn't say it as a negative thing but it's obviously less complex than say cs go.
it's easier in a sense that the skill to entry to the game is A LOT lower. But the skill required is drastically different to csgo: csgo u need to learn spray patterns etc, in this game u need to tap headshots. So tapping hs this game is the go to compare to csgo where spraying is a lot more viable. Obviously tapping hs is hard skill, and combining with abilities in this game it can make this game skill ceiling much higher than csgo, but the game skill floor is much lower too. I completely new csgo player will not perform at all even playing unrank until certain skill floor is hit, but a new valorant player that never played fps (as supported by many twitch streamers when streaming first time playing fps) can still do okay because how the abilities can support a team and get carried even u have trash aim, and these utilities are easier to execute than learning throwing smokes in csgo. So again, yes easier but also no, which was Warowl's point of view anyway as he claims this game is more deliberate and organised. (You can say the same from Dota to League, league is a much more strip down version of Dota: League is a much more easier game than Dota in comparison but doesn't make the game uncompetitive or 'easy', it's just the skill required are different even though it's the same genre)

Man... I have to be honest: after almost 17 years of counterstrike and long time subscriber of daddy owl. I wish valorant becomes the future of this channel. I'm so in love with this game. Hey Warowl, Riot mentioned that the shield value of 50% is incorrect in a reddit post. The value is 66% of damage is done to shields 1rst I believe but I cant find the post again.
I came into valorant from Siege. Across all platforms globally I was in the top 8% of players (top 3% globally for ps4). I keep loosing gun fights and have been feeling discouraged but your video reminded me something important. I ended Siege with over 800 hours of play and it took me a while to become as good as I was. So thanks for that. I just need more time playing to get the feel of the game. Im not very articulate but I guess my take away is (hope this helps someone else) , at a certain point of just being good at something you don't remember what it was like to learn. When you can just go on auto pilot and do good, winning and doing well just feels normal and alters your perspective in a way.

Watching this video I think I figured out why I suck so much, I'm a very movement heavy player, and im very, very aggressive.
I rely on the ability too sholder peak, bait shots, and dodge with superior movement and aim.
I play with every gun similar too a scout, dodging in and out, trying too be unpredictable.
Valorant is designed too destroy my playstyle.

i played a couple rounds of CSGO last night in a good while. i did decent, then head over to valorant and i was dominating! I feel like if you play CSGO before going to Valorant you get a good warm up, regardless the different styles of both games.

I think Valorant is distilling CS down to its "battle of wits" to get rid of as much "battle of hand-eye coordination" as possible.
This is evidenced in the extreme movement speed reduction when tagging as well as reduced movement speed in general: It follows the rule that "whoever expected the other person, and wasn't expected by the other person, should be the winner". It makes crosshair placement much more important and powerful than flicking or aiming.
If Valorant successfully becomes "CS with less emphasis on hand-eye coordination", it's definitely the game for me.
The high requirement for aim is what makes CS the shooter that it is. It's the most raw form of FPS eSports. At the end of the day, an FPS will always be about who can click heads better and no matter how many operators, agents, special abilities you add, it will always be a battle of aim.
For example, R6S is probably the definition of an FPS that relies on the brains of the player yet the number 1 player is an aimstar that is known for picking the operator with the best fragging capability. In fact, barely any of the top players are 500iq IGLs that know every single angle in the game. Most top players are aimstars.
Valorant, as an FPS, will always be about who can aim better.
@@danielsan2397 no not really, an fps doesn't mean that at the end of the day it's all about who can click heads better. just look at overwatch, there are some hero matchups where even if both players had perfect aim one side will always win.
@@yuheavensent4904 that's because every char in overwatch uses a different weapon and abilities are tied to those weapons. it's there are massive skill gaps with characters and why your aim doesn't matter as much.
overwatch is only really an fps by definition, it's nothing like the standard shooter, you're learning how to play a character, not how to use a gun per-say
you will eventually hit a skill wall where you are going to get destroyed by people with better aim than you though. you can expect someone to pop around a corner but if you have a weak reaction time and a weak grasp on the initial predictable pattern you're going to get wrecked. You will most definitely get by in the lower skill levels with just strategy though

ALSO, the randomness of a spray in valorant is given away slightly before the bullets come out, if you look at the barrel of the gun as it is randomly spraying you can see that the barrel will go in the direction that the spray is ABOUT to go, so you can counteract it

You do realize that by making movement and shooting easier you have to be more precise and rely on your aim more right? So basically people are better aimers in valorant. I consistently find myself having to headshot people or die instead in engagement.
@@brianjc720 Relying on aim is what most people prefer since its what most people do anyway. It being easier to aim doesn't make people "better" aimers. It simply easier because there are fewer things to account for. I didn't say it as a negative thing but it's obviously less complex than say cs go.
it's easier in a sense that the skill to entry to the game is A LOT lower. But the skill required is drastically different to csgo: csgo u need to learn spray patterns etc, in this game u need to tap headshots. So tapping hs this game is the go to compare to csgo where spraying is a lot more viable. Obviously tapping hs is hard skill, and combining with abilities in this game it can make this game skill ceiling much higher than csgo, but the game skill floor is much lower too. I completely new csgo player will not perform at all even playing unrank until certain skill floor is hit, but a new valorant player that never played fps (as supported by many twitch streamers when streaming first time playing fps) can still do okay because how the abilities can support a team and get carried even u have trash aim, and these utilities are easier to execute than learning throwing smokes in csgo. So again, yes easier but also no, which was Warowl's point of view anyway as he claims this game is more deliberate and organised.
(You can say the same from Dota to League, league is a much more strip down version of Dota: League is a much more easier game than Dota in comparison but doesn't make the game uncompetitive or 'easy', it's just the skill required are different even though it's the same genre)

Man... I have to be honest: after almost 17 years of counterstrike and long time subscriber of daddy owl. I wish valorant becomes the future of this channel. I'm so in love with this game. It is actually so much fun, I get the feeling back from 2002/2003 when I was genuine excited to go and play a specific video game. Imagine what good content there would be for a long time... I came into valorant from Siege. Across all platforms globally I was in the top 8% of players (top 3% globally for ps4). I keep loosing gun fights and have been feeling discouraged but your video reminded me something important. I ended Siege with over 800 hours of play and it took me a while to become as good as I was. So thanks for that. I just need more time playing to get the feel of the game.
Im not very articulate but I guess my take away is (hope this helps someone else) , at a certain point of just being good at something you don't remember what it was like to learn. When you can just go on auto pilot and do good, winning and doing well just feels normal and alters your perspective in a way.
