MX5 Skunk2 Throttle Body STILL sticking open

The Skunk2 throttle body for 1.8 MK5s is known to stick open, but mine is still doing it AFTER I modified it...what can we do to improve it?

Yes, it doesn't get stuck anymore, even on the softest spring setting.

Have you tried the spring modification
You drill a spare hole in the throttle cable portion of the system. Giving you more spring pressure to keep the blade from getting stuck.
Lubricants help but for short periods of time

@@jptperformance yes, the spring mod was the first thing that I did but it still fails. The true cause of the issue is the unlubricated spring and collet. I've now gone back to the stock spring setting and it's perfect. Just need to clean and regrease periodically
