@@morecannonfab Great videos. If I may suggest that you film some shots straight on so we can see the breech closing. I wanted to see how it closes and works.
I’ve built a few smaller guns (mortars mostly, and one parrot rifle I need to finish out) but I’ve always wanted a golf ball gun! I have to know, what is your barrel? Is it just DOM or what? Also, what are the ID/OD specs?
If you don't mind me asking, where did you find the plans for the breech mechanism? I'm thinking about making one of my own though I would want to make one that uses custom made shells.
Will this model be made available for sale? I had one of your golf ball French 75's (I think it was serial #5) I bought at Knob Creek years ago and really enjoyed it, but lost it in a house fire. Was afraid to shoot it after the fire due to the heat it went through, so I gave it to a friend helping me recover from the fire. He brushed the rust off it and repainted it and uses it as a lawn ornament now. Replacement cannons weren't "speaking" to me as much until I started seeing your breech loading ones. Thank you for the videos.
Dom, I get a kick out of just watching and hearing that breech functioning.
I like the breech loaders too. thanks for watching.

@@user-uy1rg8td1v I’ll do that in the next video.
Awesome build! I love it. I would really like some details on the breach block!
Beautiful. Like the recoil mitigation! Dawn dish detergent is fine Blackpowder solvent.
“Im here at the airport” (gonna shoot some planes) lol
That is super cool!
Love your videos...
Thanks!

That cannon is really cool!
thanks!
Can you tell me what you are using to build the barrel out of?
I like this video sir thanks
I wonder how flash paper bags would affect the cannon
OK couldnt you machine up some powder cups from stainless etc? Awesome design by the way
is it a smoothbore naval gun?
Yes, it is a smoothbore.

I didn’t use plans, just photos.
@@morecannonfab I'll have to do some research then.
Is that iron pipe? What is the pipe made of?
Some bigger recoil would be nice...and a stronger spring.
The recoil mechanism is just a spring no gas hydraulic buffer????
Where can I get a set of plans for the Naval Gun
I didn't use or have any plans to build this.
I like it
Secret North Korean cannon test🤣🤣🤣🤣

Шикарная мощная и красивая пушка, жаль не видно по каким мишеням она стреляет!!!!😎😉🙂☺😀😄💪👌👏🖒👍🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺
How does the lock on the left side of the breech work?
It’s an inertia slap hammer with a percussion cap.
Where’s the blue prints
