Mehn! If this soundtrack was a place, it'll be like heaven! Alchemist mehn, you've just over won my heart as one of the best classics sample hit producer! Just can't stop listening & vibing to it....I'm Addicted!!!
Mad props to "lenonhonorfilms" for making a documentary which sported this instrumental in it. Otherwise i might not have stumbled across such a jewel like this right here.
yo im bringing u the light spyda loves u nope diz aint no illusion with a bullshit sight so evade the night, alright cuz today were gonna fly in da sky like a kite no strings just my arms around u like a snake with wings sing u the lion king n show u im 1 of many kings my heart beats as twice as chung king love bigger den da great wall ur blood clot inside me install remember when we met down in miller mall u shout out my name in a fkn brawl
DOPE'ness! However, coming from the golden era...I hate when producers use an OBVIOUS sample loop and make no reference to the original sample in the credits. I get it, I do want to shine light on old gems for new listeners and hopefuly give them a new perspective on the greats of old causing them to go back, dig, and find new appreciations for classics they never would have heard. BUT, when the whole sample is looped and obvious, why the !@#$ would you not pay tribute by naming the sample an artist in the credits? You did little more than take an already complete expression and add drums to it...no matter HOW kickass it sounds. Tight, but not cool. ps...make no mistake, I think the Alchemist is HELLA tight. I'm sure this was an oversight and I have made the same mistake myself...But even still, young producers take note.
