Eric, do you remember when my friend lived near Teddy Pendergrass, and I said to God, "Why can't a rock star live next to me?" And a month later you moved next door? How do you think I always knew you were an Angel in disguise? Do you remember you and Barbara pushing Emma in a stroller down Avon road, while I was cutting the grass? You were such an Elegant couple, and of course I don't care who sees this. I was so grateful to have good souls in the neighborhood again as we smiled, the three of us, at each other. I cried when I heard of the hard times you and the Hooters went through, and cried again when I found out, you were doing ok touring in Europe. Eric, it is your heart that matters. Hope you have happiness to the end of your days. And crippled as I am (run over by a truck) I would always "Help" (saw The Beatles Help cover today). Eric, did you ever know it was my Grandfather that brought Nipper from England to be the Icon for RCA? Nipper will always love my older friend Eric Bazilian. -Tom Joyce
Absolutely wonderful. For me it was like Eric singing with The Beatles. Very timely. Very balanced. Strong message on Unity at this Hour. How Eric does not have a hit single every week, I will never understand. Once upon a time, he and his then wife were two of the nicest people in our neighborhood.
