Abel seems very interested in real-estate. But this 70M palace is a very high risked investment. Because if he wants to sell it someday then also this palace gonna give a big headache. Just best wishes for his future ❣️
There are multiple mansions in that same area that are priced above $80 million. Also, there was a Real Estate Agents YT video where they discussed if it was worth what he paid and the consensus was yes it was because it is bespoke and one of a kind and there are always wealthy buyers for that sort of property
I love it!! My boy Abel is a genius! Love this guy! Best of today's artists by far! I thank Drake for finding this gem, that's all I can say about his contribution to music.
He had to pay approximately 50 million over price. He won’t make it back by selling the house is my point. Who cares about his other sources of revenue!
That mansion doesn't look like being foreseen as just "a new home" for Abel to live in, but more like the headquarter of a company, which he already founded or will found (something like "Abel Enterprises"), too. He's busy with so many things, he's not only active in making music for himself, probably he's more and more active to also create for others. And I don't think that Abel was in need to put a mortgage on that mansion at all. Investing in real estate save tax, and is therefore the most clever thing to do with sufficient available money. Furthermore Abel sold his mansion in Hidden Hills, and most likely also his luxury apartment in Beverly Hills. Means, the missing amount for that investment wasn't that big, as it looks at first sight.
Guessing he can have a lot of friends, visitors, business deals, creative deals etc. within the privacy of his own digs. Location, location, location without the paparazzi annoyance. "Hotel Tesfaye"
If MC Hammer couldn’t keep his $20 million mansion in the 90s, this guy won’t hold on to a $70 million mansion when the dust eventually clears from this pandemic. Bless his heart, but this can’t be a sound financial decision.
For those saying he made a bad decision and needs to invest… a house is an investment , one of the smartest investments you’ll ever make. Y’all must not own homes. Lol. He’ll be fine.
It’s an investment alright but not necessarily a wise one. I don’t think his net worth is $100m, I believe it’s more but even if he has $200m-$300m, this is still a pretty high risk investment. The house was overpriced. Unless he plans to make this home his base, he won’t get a good return on this house anytime soon. He obviously took out a hefty mortgage on the house and with the mortgage + taxes + bills, it could cost him hundreds of thousands to a million a month which doesn’t make sense cause those costs will equal the very, very small profit he will make if anyone decides to pay more for the house when he sells it which I highly doubt. If he was planning to renovate the house, that could’ve been a really good investment but given the fact that the house is near new, that is unlikely. A full renovation at 33,000 square feet can cost up to $1000 per square foot and he won’t need to do that. Most likely he know what he’s doing and only he knows how much money he has.. I wish him the best.
@@HM-xi5zi Yes, clearly he has a terrible financial adviser! A good idea is to spend no more than 2 million dollars on a house (even when you rich) or buy several cheaper properties, rent them out (have them earn passive income) while also purchasing land (preferably fertile land)... And in his case, I wouldn't take ANY purchase with a mortgage, lesson 101 : pay off your house asap
buying this type of house for that amount of money is not an investment. Its probably one of the stupidest things u can do unleess u have infinite money. This is a house a billionaire should own. For anybody worth less than 300 million its a gamble.

Actually, Abel Tesfaye is not the singer/composer of The Weeknd. He may not be OK. It sort of depends on the legal definition of Doppelganger (a person who intentionally impersonates another person using his intellectual property as his own) The real The Weeknd is André Martins Fachada who has been doing this with Jennie Kim of BLACKPINK FOR ABOUT 11 YEARS, so there is a lot of metadata to substantiate the technical situation on all streaming platforms, in the cloud, on satellite, on Pegasus, with the NSA, FBI, DOJ, MI6, Policia Judiciaria and PSP in Portugal, the IGAI Ministry of Interior in Portugal, Prime MInister Antonio Costa, former President Barack Obama, President Joe Biden, Nicola Sturgeon of Scotland, all three Constables of Police Scotland, as well as Stephen House one of the Chief Constables of Scotland before he took over as acting commissioner on 10 April 2022, after Cressida Dick announced her resignation in February.
This video shows clearly how much Abel Tesfaye has profited by playing the body double (NOT THE VOICE OR COMPOSER) of The Weeknd real singer/composer of The Weeknd André Martins Fachada.
