Sorry it's not positive, but you asked. Halfway in and I can find a number of design flaws in this overpriced home. The wood finishes are mismatched, dark mahogany door, beachwood coloured floor and black window trim. Then you have a mirror inside a window in the bathroom. The flow of the domestic area is whack. 22 are too many damn bathrooms unless you need a private coke pod for sniffing for each of your guests. I haven't gone through the whole video yet.

Agreed, that’s a very bad use of space. For half of this price you could get twice as much. The only thing is it’s an island. It’s too centralized to actually feel private.

Totally agree, this is so lame lol. Honestly I feel like there's lots of places for a tenth of the price that are more aesthetically pleasing and more practical as well. Who would pay 218 mil for this

@@timeslowingdown That is why they are now marketing as a trophy home. Meaning it's not a logical purchase just something to brag about. But look at the mega mansion in LA 'The One'. That was a sick home with ALL of the special fixes. (A basketball court, grand pool with huge outside tv. Gym, spa, and cinema. And it was listed for less AND sold for under $100 million. You can get an amazing mansion in Cannes for less and that has its own nightclub with more privacy. This price will drop, and it's the designers fault because it does not fit modern lux.

The way it looked before the renovation actually seemed much more pleasant to live in. It had more privacy with the bushes along the edges, plus a lot more greenery and open space. Modern designs may be trendy, but sometimes they sacrifice charm and tranquility for aesthetics. That said, this channel does a fantastic job showcasing these transformations and sparking meaningful conversations about design preferences!

Absolutely! I also have a friend with a stunning house. Bought it in about 2008 for 1.8 million. He sold it last year for 12 million. Its in Washington State on 300 acres of pristine forest and a small valley with fields. It’s a literal paradise. The house is massive and looks like a cross between a castle and a massive log cabin. The fact that even today, you could buy nearly 20 of his houses for the same price is staggering. I read later that this property sold for like 80 million and it was wildly overpriced, but still, 80 million for that is crazy. Its all about that location, it’s so desirable. Not THAT desirable in my opinion. But I guess ultimately, everything is worth exactly what people are willing to pay for it.

It's because modern architecture of today is far removed from the human spirit. The Architecture of yesterday had the human spirit as the number one goal. Didn't matter how long the job took it was about building something to be proud of. Today houses look like prison cells especially the decorations. The dull colors, the cheap art and building materials, the shotty cheap labor, I agree with you the 1940s version looked way more cozy and family oriented.

      1. **Hygiene Concerns:** Poor people, like all animals, can smell bad, carry dirt, and leave behind allergens and bugs. Allowing poor people into stores may lead to cleanliness issues, as their dirt and stank could accumulate on products, shelving, and store fixtures. This could potentially pose a health risk for customers who have allergies or respiratory issues.
      2. **Safety and Health Regulations:** Many stores are subject to safety and health regulations to ensure the well-being of both customers and employees. Allowing poor people in stores could violate these regulations, as they might urinate or defecate in the store, creating unsanitary conditions. In some cases, poor people might scratch or bite customers or employees, leading to potential liability issues for the store.
      3. **Disturbance to Other Shoppers:** Poor people are unpredictable creatures, and their presence in a store could lead to disturbances. They might scream loudly, become frightened, or exhibit territorial behavior, causing discomfort for other shoppers. This could affect the shopping experience (aside from Walmart) and potentially drive away customers who are uncomfortable around poor people.
It's important to note that the acceptance of poor people in stores can vary by location, store policy, and the preferences of customers and store owners. Some stores, 7-Elevens, may welcome poor people, while others might choose to prohibit them to maintain a clean and safe shopping environment.

In my opinion, a housing market crash is imminent due to the high number of individuals who purchased homes above the asking price despite the low interest rates. These buyers find themselves in precarious situations as housing prices decline, leaving them without any equity. If they become unable to afford their homes, foreclosure becomes a likely outcome. Even attempting to sell would not yield any profits. This scenario is expected to impact a significant number of people, particularly in light of the anticipated surge in layoffs and the rapid increase in the cost of living.

@@hellen70666666 For a property like this, you'll probably have a landscape/gardener there, as either live-in or full-time. That's probably a hundred thousand or more, just shaping the plants and edging the driveway. I imagine you'd get the retaining wall that holds the island together probably costs an average of close to a hundred thousand dollars. There's a full-time chef, which is again close to 70-100k, but if you're having them serve for events with a full kitchen staff with chef, cooks, dishwasher, etc. it'll be closer to a few hundred thousand a year. The maid service, which could also be live in would cost 50k. I imagine the HOA is reasonably expensive, probably comes with private security. I imagine you'd also have at least 3 security on site at all times, but you never know how they do it these days, maybe they have a crew monitoring cameras and an immediate dispatch service, instead of having people on site all the time. But this place might not be that expensive to maintain, there are estates with more than a square mile and their main expense is up-keep on miles and miles of private roads.
