@@RevereOverland You should consider starting a guide service! Trail riding, camping, overlooks, maybe work in history of the areas... would be cool. Regardless, appreciate the great content. Merry Christmas
I like the convenience to town with your new location. Plus there appears to be several areas whereas one can be tucked away affording a bit of privacy or personal space with some desert shrubs
Older video, but do you need any permits to drive the Traverse? I was reading something that someone recommended a hunting and fishing license for WMA areas etc.
Some friends and I are planning on taking this trail soon. I only have a 2WD truck. We are also taking other vehicles that are 4x4. Do you think it would make it? I can’t find anyone else to ask about how rugged the trails are. Thanks in advance!
Sometimes Forest Rangers can be cool, but other times they can be really frustrating/annoying. It's almost like they don't personally want you out on the trails, but they have to let you because you're not breaking any laws. Where could I find GPS maps for these trails?
I think we were just in their way. Apparently they were looking for someone who had been hunting bears, and we were blocking the trail! I upload all of my tracks and waypoints to Patreon. It’s possible you can find the trail on Google, but I was just following along, so don’t know for sure! I know we referred to it as the Big Frog Loop. Someone else may be able to chime in.
@@RevereOverland That makes a bit more sense. Alright thanks for the help. I'm down that way relatively often so I'd definitely like to check that loop out.
Enjoy your videos! Inspired to purchase a Jeep and do some exploring. I'm in Richmond, KY... Keep up the great trips!
Thanks! There’s a lot to see and do around Kentucky with a Jeep (or 4Runner)!

MMMM Backstraps wrapped in bacon, my favorite. Great video, tell Jeremiah @Overland Pioneers I said thanks for the invite LOL! 🙄
It was so good! It wasn’t actually Jeremiah’s trip, but I was tired, and didn’t do a proper intro!
@@RevereOverland I see.
Love these roads, done it a few times myself.
love this route, ridden it many times via dual sport motorcycle.
It's a neat area!
Have a Merry Christmas Happy New Year!!!
Merry Christmas! Have a good one!
Nice Tacoma and great footage of Big Frog Loop! Enjoyed the video! Just subbed!
Thanks for the sub!

I’m really confused!

Always bring my chainsaw while camping in Cherokee National Forest, never know around the next bend how many trees will be down.
are any of these roads gated in the winter (or seasonal gates) ? or are the open year round ?
I think they're open year round. I don't remember seeing any gates!
@@RevereOverland thank you!
Just over the state line, NC National forest closes all of the “non-essential roads” during winter :(
Think a 2011 duramax could make it down those trails?
Easy. It's all wide open! The Power Wagon had no problems.
@@RevereOverland ok awesome I’ll be going in mid January
More plzzz

How long was did it take you guys to do the whole trail?
A full day
@@RevereOverland would you recommend to split it into two days? Any suggestions for good camp spots?
