Manos hands of fate way more worse than this movie
Torgo: I am Torgo. I take care of the place while the Master is away.
Torgo: There is no way out of here. It will be dark soon. There is no way out of here.
Torgo: There is nothing to fear, madam. The Master likes you. Nothing will happen to you. He likes you.
Margaret: Likes me? I thought you said he was dead?
Torgo: Dead? No, madam. Not dead the way you know it. He is with us always. Not dead the way you know it. He is with us always.
The Master: You have failed us, Torgo. For this you must die.

I was serving in the Nevada Army National Guard and drove one of those tanks during the filming. The production Company leased the tanks from the DOD on the condition that we, (the REAL crews) operated them, we got paid teamster wages for heavy equipment operators.

@@jayjay53313 Madeupistan gets invaded my a mercenary force from the neighbouring kingdom of Bullshitnia. The mercenary force is made up of M48s (or M60s, not sure), with no logistical support. Unable to defend themselves, Madeupistan hires Megaforce, the most homo-erotic badasses ever. They have buggies and bikes with lazers and shrink rays. Also the main commander, Ace Hunter, used to be best friends with the evil bearded villain. It ends with the M48s getting destroyed (there's hundreds of them thanks to the suspicious power of editing). Anyway, Ace doesn't make the evac flight, the C130 pulls off without him... BUT!!!! His bike can fly. He goes through the air and lands on the back ramp of the plane.

The cheapest of 80s movies still looks better to me than 200 million dollar CGI filled shit. Look at all this REAL shit going on during this filming. It's fucking crazy. They really don't make epic scenes like this anymore with real shit, it's always digital now.
I was stoked about Fury Road when I heard Miller say "no cgi, real cars, real stunts"
Well, that was 80% correct. CGI was everywhere in Fury Road. The more I watch it the more I spot it. (still love it for the practical FX moments overall which is most is)
I guess I'm saying i miss some director being on the phone for a year with no budget, making connections, making things happen with no money, wheeling and dealing, and then taking that chump change and making this kind of insane exciting shit happen on screen. Fuck I miss these types of films

Some actor's live in the scenery, some actors chew the scenery, but Barry Bostwick molests the scenery till it and everyone watching has repressed memories.

The tagline for this movie (Deeds Not Words) is my city's police service's motto. I have questions.

With those skin-tight uniforms, it's an absolute crime that Megaforce had no female members.
It's also a crime that Filmation didn't see fit to make a TV show based on this movie, which indeed plays like a series pilot at numerous points!
At least, that's my opinion. What do y'all think?

Me and my brother actually saw this in the theater. I was 8, and even then I knew what a shit movie it was. Probably the first time I fell for a trailer, and then was totally let down. Also happened with Tank. The trailer was great, movie was a giant letdown.

I was ten, saw the trailer, was immediately hooked up, watched the movie in the theater and thought it was awesome! Just what I've expected.

After Nintendos debut, Estes Rocket sales plummeted. Extra lives in video games don't cost much by comparison to a lost or damaged model rocket. And with commercial air space incursions by drones or lasers in cockpits, it's a new ball of wax for cautionary parental control of children.
I didn't share my stories until my kids were adults. Nothing approaching what I see now in the news as frequently occuring.

He said he had jobs driving on some kind of
"Dune buggy." Hindsight being 20/20 the charge of the light brigade in August 2021 in Afghanistan was done by pony express system of dirt motorbikes at night. Drive 80km under dark of night and global hawks heat sensors are not attenuated. Relay express of 5 gallon Jerry cans of gasoline.
Drag the bike indoors. They did this in 10 days or a fortnite.
