Martins superb all the things he does - especially when it comes to educating children, it’s clear the government want children to fail from the very start with their finances it’s absolutely disgusting!! Rather teach people about religion. A few bad decisions in your 20’s can ruin you for decades!!
In the late 70s i was doing a cse and gcse maths classes with 2 different teachers. I find it hard to understand maths if i cant relate it to real life problems. I kept on moaning to have lessons in finances to understand how to look after your money and work out interest and understand mortgages. If we had learned all this instead of algebra, trigonometry and loggerithems (that i have never used since school) we could all have a better slice of the cake and not keep sweeping the crumbs. The country as a whole would be in a better state too.
The problem with Society in general is the majotiy of people live on credit. I've seen it with my young colleagues who are maxed out on credit cards. Same for PPE and cars. I'm afraid we live in a credit world and Martin will always be the Saviour for these knumbheads. Live within your means it's simple.
Thank you Martins for always educating us on money management. I just discovered your show and I have learnt so much from you. Can I have the website for the textbook please.
