Pub Walks: Around the Churnet Valley and Cauldon Canal, featuring the Churnet Valley Railway

On a lovely, sunny, Autumn day, an abortive trip on the Churnet Valley Railway is the prelude to a hugely frustrating walk from Froghall via Ipstones and Consall. Featuring closed and misleading footpaths, rouge cows, and the inevitable closed pub, and taking 10 miles to cover the 6.5 mile route.
