There was a terrible crime in 2006 in Canada, (same country which Made these movies) involving a 12 year old goth girl, Jasmine Richardson, obssesed with dark culture, who, seduced by a man who claimed to be a 300 year old werewolf, murdered her entire family so they could be together forever. The boyfriend was sentenced to life in prison, while she was released in 2016. This reboot could bring back bad memories to the canadian community who lived where this happened, and even more with the main responsable girl, now a full grown adult woman, walking free with a new identity.

Excellent actress. I'm an actor in Vancouver, been on set with Emily, but never played any scenes with her, when ever I saw her as a person she was very attractive, but when I see her in character she always looked gaunt, homely. Never really saw that in an actress before, even in character. Its like a switch was thrown, nothing to do with makeup.

My dumb ass never realized that they rehearse scenes somewhere else before they are shot on the actual set lol. I thought they learned their lines then went straight to film on set.

THE SHORT HAIR WAS NOT FOR A PREVIOUS ROLE
She cut her hair just prior to casting for personal style reasons, just experimenting with a new hairstyle before heading off to college. Personally, I'm a sucker for a woman with short hair.
