A message from Melvyn Hayes to the fans - Voice of Frizz in The Dreamstone

The very same person who provided the voice from the camp Skeleton from “Superted”, to the dictator Dolf from the English Dub of “Alfred J. Kwak”, it’s so nice to see the voice actor of Frizz still going. Wish Nug’s voice actor was still with us, R.I.P.
I can only imagine Anthony Jackson doing something like this if he was still with us. Along with John Franklyn-Robbins.
MELVYN HAYES!!! LEGEND! ❤
He’s my dad and what your also witnessing here is my first bit of camera work as I filmed the video. Hope it looks okay and having spent the last 21 years of my life with him he will always be a legend in my eyes and I too one day hope to follow his footsteps into television or radio not as an actor but television/radio presenter. Best regards to you all and take care. Josh
Thank you
My absolutely favorite character
*Hi, Skeleton!* I cannot being to tell you how much I adored "SuperTed" as a child, still do now. My twin sister still keeps a personal door plaque of the two of us with your, well, arch-enemy SuperTed kneeling down and putting his paws around us both! Anyway, thanks for making our memories, Melyvn. Keep well and safe.
Noops and Wutts were all very well, but I think Frizz was the real protagonist of the show. I'm sure I wasn't the only one who, as a kid, empathised most of all with him and the other urpneys. I don't know if it was intentional, but in many ways Viltheed was a perfect metaphor for school. As a British schoolkid, you were part of an anonymous uniformed mass, spending your days in a cavernous building, subject to the arbitrary whims of tyrants, and forced to perform pointless and occasionally degrading tasks (e.g. rugby), with no recourse except to skive and grumble to each other out of earshot. I'd go as far as to say the whole place existed for the purpose of crushing dreams. It wasn't just because he was fat that we called our PE teacher "Sergeant Blob" - it was because he couldn't understand why we didn't share his enthusiasm for the constant torture he subjected us to.
Yassssss

My first bit of camera work. Quite happy with how it turned out
