They have lots of ranks and names, but none of them are connected with home spirits. Ikitursa is sky walrus inn finno-ugrian culture (we are really close). Tursa is common word for walrus, yes. But ikutorsa isnt the same with ikitursa. On the contrary, ikitursa was the one killing suids.
The HAC bonus to disintegrator maximum damage does not work the way you seem to think it works. That bonus means the Ikitursa's disintegrator has a higher cap to the maximum damage it can put out once fully spooled up. So if a precursor weapon can spool up to 150% increased damage, it can now increase to 250% on the Ikitursa. Yeah, it's pretty monstrous.
Its good to reiterate that the Heavy Assault Cruiser skill affects ALL Heavy Assault Cruisers, not just the Ikitursa.. so getting it to 5 will help ALL the HACs you have access to.
I hadn't really considered HACs for these sites - usually ive been just running a rather bling gila with surprisingly fast clear times. Might take a look at the HACs. Thanks!
Honestly, the Gila is what inspired these. When I first started C3 ratting, all the information I could find was "Fly a T3C, or a bling Gila, or a Rattlesnake or Praxis" I'm a cruiser guy, and the Gila bored the crap outta me so I wanted to try other things... and the HACs? Arguably BETTER than the Gila and definitely cheaper. Check out the full playlist, I covered them all with a round up!
For C3 I would recommend going with a 100mn fit, medium neut for greatly increased survivability. If you get webbed you dont even feel it. Two large cap batteries are great, perhaps replace the cap recharger with a web in case you get tackled by a frig, insta kill it.
As a Finn I find it absolutely hilarious that CCP named the ship after basically the Finnish version of Cthulhu, also those Triglavian ships at least in my opinion are just downright gorgeous looking
I noticed when you jumped into the site at the end of the video that you are a fair distance away. I tend to create a BM as I warp in (about 300km(, warp back out, look at any enemy ship and then warp right to a structure near the enemy, burn the prop mod after landing and orbit comfortably and watch the enemy die. May make running the sites a little bit quicker from the start instead of free burning at an angle initially. Cheers

I believe a higher level of HAC skill Does NOT increase how fast it spools. It only increases the max spool it can reach. Therefore it is only worth it to train up, if you are reaching max spool on your targets.
Those pirate ships are some of my favorite ships in the game. Fortunately, my skills are perfect or near perfect on the whole tree. Expensive and and definitely a shit magnet, but that's all part of EVE.
Hey guys, I'll be going to fan fest this year. First year for me, and I've not played with an alliance in a long time, so if anyone needs a merc let me know!
Yes, easily if you fly smart. It's also a terrifying PvP threat to folks. As with all my videos though, I'm not saying "this is the best", I'm just saying "If you like this ship, here's something you can do with it"
Try running 2 enams, ctype or t2. Your damage control is cool but its not doing work 90% of the time so thats why you get in that situation. The reactive is okay but uses cap and takes time. They deal different types of damage back and forth so its always moving the resists, not filling your kin hole like you think its only reacting to the damage type witch means also the resistances are a bit late then the next damage type hits and your its late to move it again. Just run Energized they rock. I'm about to try a similar fit right now with 100mn compact, 2x tracking computers with range, large fleet bat. 3xentropics, 2 ctype enams, 1 med armor rep. 1x ancil, 1x nano pump, same high slots.
Whilst I like your suggestions, you misunderstand the fit as it is. With an ADC, I can absorb the big hits I know I'll be taking in Outposts. It's also amazing to help you get away if a PvPer does manage to drop on you. That's why I run it. The vast majority of the time, you don't need it at all, let alone "better", it's there for when it IS needed. As for the Reactives, Sleepers don't cause it to go back and forth. Different sites have different ships with different weapon preference, and the ship you're using will do better or worse against each weapon type. In this case, almost all of the turrets apply poorly and very little damage, so the Reactive only responds to the missiles incoming applied damage, meaning it stays firmly on the Explosive/Kinetic side of the spectrum making it flat out better than an Energised, especially since Reactives do not receive the stacking penalty that literally every other resistance amplifier does.
@@captainbenzie I sig tanked it flew the 100 AB fit. Its pretty amazing I actually dropped more of my tank and added more DPS. All of these wormhole sites seem quite easy if you know how to mitigate the damage 10mm tengu is absurdly powerful. I was able to run up to c4 with VedMac and icky though I wouldn't say it was profitable because of the amount of mitigation time you spend. You cannot just orbit the battleships and hope they miss you while all that tackle jumps on so you have to deal with tackle at range while keeping high traversal and then spiral into the battleships although it's fun to attempt I have have a lot of experience since 2009 running level 5 solo so this actually is a bit of a breath of fresh air having a new challenge. Iki came pretty close to what the tangu can get done in nearly the same amount of time it would also scale well with buddies. Dropping local for remote repairs and stepping up to c5s and whatnot. Iki and tengu I would say are the top two choices for soloing up to c4's under battle ship with mitigation in mind Rather than face tank setups I don't think those will bode well in a c4. Give it a shot man live on the edge it takes them from mundane to exciting All you need is 100 MN a single rep and gank the lows. Do not orbit do not approach approach. Use a 45° angle if you need maximum amount of traversal keep them to the left or right side of your ship while also going up and down the more directions they're tracking the harder to hit. My tank barely ever moves an inch. If you're really worried start manually piloting the ship towards celestial bodies you can warp out to but do not just click approach on the Sun and hope you can tank it while you warp out that could be a really bad angle or it could bring your traversal down to zero to turn around. I was under the impression from the descriptions (and from a brief bit of testing) that the spec skills work with the ammo, not the weapon. ie Specialisation affects Occult in the Veles.
@@captainbenzie i thought that for awhile too, but in the skill book itself states 2% bonus per medium weapons. nothing about charges. alliance and I had a debate about this awhile ago and tested it out. maybe it has changed since last year.. o7 EDIT: also if that were true, then you would get bonus's from the charge and wpns. tracking is the same for all the wpns still
Just to let you know the Velens is so good, that even with the weapon spec trained to V (and only then) you'll get a dps increase of 19 DPS when using the T2, after 60 cycles! So no it is not worth using the T2 over the Velens, not even with the spec trained to lvl 5.
