TGC pls take your time 😭 I understand that they want to make a new season after 9 colored deer ends but my god, this is my first time experiencing lots of bugs in a game- and don't get me wrong, I love they coming with new stuff but for a 5 months moth it is confusing x-x
ikr, I'd rather wait longer than experience it early but with bugs!
The endless cycle of live service updates to make sure the game has 'new content' is relentless. They can't stop even if they wanted to.
Yup, that's what a lot of players have been saying, Aivary should start off right, especially to players who call the village their home.
@aheadlessmob You said it! Every time there's an update, new bugs show up. 🙄This time around I've actually started searching for a new open world game to enjoy a less problematic experience. When there are more bugs than game, the fun gets sucked out.
@of10 honestly, yeah 😭 the one time they tried to slow down and not give everyone fomo, they fucked that up too.
(during Halloween when they delayed iaps, some people could see them, some couldn’t. The servers were glitchy and people could barely buy the iaps for their friends since they had to be sitting on eachothers backs to not disconnect.. and you cant gift people while on their back)
TGC giving us the ability to have a house in Sky since getting one irl nowadays is an even bigger fantasy
For the housing currency, I would like to suggest Ascended candles. I don't think we need a separate currency, but I also think that moths would be intimidated if everything would cost regular candles or hearts. It would also encourage us to have Eden runs, which they are also trying to improve!

Meanwhile I just checked the date only to see that it's STILL February?! January happened in the blink of an eye like it didn't exist, whereas February feels like it should have ended 2 months ago!
I swear if we have to pay candles to pay the rent of our house, I'll be laughing XD.

I wish they add some farming/crafting option or sth which doesn’t rely on buying spells with candols. So you can pick up flowers & rocks etc, use your ability to craft decor / even furniture for the house.
Wait… In the first release of Aviary there was this WHOLE area with a darkness plant, but now it’s just a ton of clouds though if you go near it somehwere you can’t find some unburnable plants, so I think there will decloud and that’s where the place will be!

If the next season i about building your own home, that would give more reasons on buying the furnitures. I usually skip those because I don't have any reason to.
Okay, WHAT IF the area with the dark plants gets burned as part of the quest for next season and we can build the foundation for our multileveled home there. The basement could kinda be like a little swimming pool for us at the bottom where the water is

I would absolutely LOVE if we could somehow have some personal, private, charming little corner of our own in Sky! Yes, functionally like the concept of arranging shared spaces, but our own, and accessible by invite only. Maybe a place where we could decorate with our props and outfits, practice music or chat with friends in greater peace and quiet, and we could check the constellation to send gifts and collect light, but not officially be “online”? (Although, honestly, I’d love a full-on player mode like that too. There’s times I love being open to interacting with others while I play, but sometimes it’d be nice to be able to toggle into a “solo mode” that was something a bit more than DND.) And I’d totally vote with you for a props/furniture shop - how fun would that be?! Ohhh, or little mailboxes or a postal system for friends to use?! OR, even the ability to send a short note when giving a heart through the constellation, like being able to say something appreciative toward the person you’re giving it to?
EDIT! Maybe instead of a traditional “mailbox,” we could have something like a little water feature/tiny fountain! It could have an upper “shelf” for hearts and notes and lights, and a little pool at the base of a tiny waterfall for paper boats and cranes and lanterns.
I'd love to see on of the aviary buildings become a candle shop, when you can go in and maybe pay a heart to light a coloured candle. Whichever coloured candle you have lit will be the colour your skykid holds, and will also change the colour of the glow your character gives off. It would be like the home candles where you can only have one lit at a time. And if you light the green candle then any green cosmetics you wear won't end up looking like trash because your character will glow green not orange. Could also be nice to have this shop also offer permanent trail colours for a price
yeah, im honestly floored that trail colors arent a regular thing in the game AT ALL. literally only way to get them is MAYBE spells. but even then its also chance. like wtf? for people pushing customization SO HARD youre really going to turn off that mechanic almost entirely? even though it's already fully implemented in the game as well? smh. why cant we have that to customize, too, to make flying more interesting??
I really hope it’s different from shared spaces too. The concept of being able to make it public or not would def be ideal. And I swear, if they do some sort of furniture/decoration shop, TGC can have all my money because how cute would that be!? 🤣

Don't know if it'll happen, but picturing plopping your plot into different realms...
a beach house in Sanctuary Islands, an oasis home in Wasteland, a base in Orbit where one must die to reach it.
I theorize that the bloom phrasing in the teaser is referencing that the new season will start during days of bloom, which could mean less break between seasons, since the current season has about 32 or 31 days left, meaning it will end around when days of bloom starts.

I feel like it’s going to be a blue themed season, the cosmetics moon/night themed. I feel like the quests are going to eventually lead up to us actually owning our own home.
I wish we had more green and blue cosmetics and completely black cosmetics.
I can only hope they’ll do something similar to Kirby’s Epic Yarn, where you have a little apartment space if your own, and there’s a shop with rotating furniture and items. I’d assume these cost candles, because whoo boy we already got like, 5? Types of currency?
If there was a music box I imagined to play music sheets that you have collected over the years, depending on what type of music box you get and will change how the melody of the song will behave.
A music box for the sheet music! I LOVE this idea! I don’t tend to play the sheets as often as I just play around what I want to on the piano or panpipes, but a music box would actually make me eager to collect a lot more sheet music.
I’d like to know the titles of each music sheet…. This idea could do that!
there's also a little cave on the back of the closet rock with a little window, maybe you could choose to live there if you wanted a more "private" entrance 😊
Idk if its still in beta (or in live), but there's a darkness plant over to the left when walking into the Aviary up on the wall that can't be interacted with. Gonna check right quick.
Edit: so it is still in beta 7:08 I feel like thats definitely gonna ipen up in the next season!

maybe instead of a new currency they could make candlelight fill up the candles easier/quickee

The main big thing I'm hoping for the Aviary season is for an overhaul in a way, because I really really wish we got the Aviary version that was shown in the teaser trailer for it a year ago now

it's so cute that we can revive the villige and now we're creating homes there❤
I'm wondering if perhaps it would be better for our house to be through a tunnel or pathway somewhere that loads a different area from Aviary. It might make it feel a tad bit more detatched from the rest of the village since you're loading into a different map, but would also make more sense if we are to decorate the outside as well as the inside. (Especially if we're to visit friend's house, unless the way it works is similar to how loading shared spaces works! :0)

I can't wait for this season! I've always absolutely loved decorating little houses in other games, it's so fun!
I know some people have said they don’t love the Aviary, and I do very much understand feeling attached and nostalgic about something, but I only played a little back when the original home space was the only option, and for me, it personally always felt a bit cramped. It was a game that largely centered around flying, but there wasn’t really any substantial space or recharging clouds to practice that flying at home. I get that practice space is not technically necessary if you just go into a realm, but it’s something I felt I would have liked. So for me, I guess it’s kind of the other way around compared to some of the opinions I’ve seen - as opposed to feeling too spread out, I finally feel like there’s a little more room to breathe and things to do even at home, and I love that the Aviary feels less like a place between everything else and more like a village and home base, and I love the idea of taking that feeling to the next level with individual spaces.
Yeah, the old Home was pretty much a "minimum viable" hub. But I could see why some people might want that - nothing more than strictly needed

well, instead of getting a new currency, they could make a better use of "getting hearts". it's so even a small problem to get hearts, and you need unfortunately lots of them... so, that would be a idea, especially with the idea to "work" (more or less) at that bar / Cafe.
well, i would either see a sort of "private space", like you said - looking maybe like the shared spaces, but with a bit more privacy, so that you can allow friends (friends, not strangers!) that they can to a visit to you. i think, there's not that much furniture needed - but i won't say no if they do.
but i hope, they fix first the bugs - and then take time to make that, and not "slap" a new season on there - and got more bugs to fix...

I hope the cosmetics are at least a little bit more fun than the ones of the aviary season. The 9 Coloured deer cosmetics haven't exactly been my jam either and I'm aching for something fresh and new!
I predict tomorrowland from Disneyland eventually, is how Avery is going to look. With all the teasers we saw in Beta when they first started it that are not there now. Yeah I think so. Flying gondolas, the big swings, etc.. 😮

part of me hopes the housing system will be like FFXIV's, only because the ensuing meltdown of the community would be very funny. but i don't think sky would actually go down a limited-housing route, sky's player base already dislikes having to pay for anything.
I have a feeling it will be like shared spaces, I just hope with extra functionality and that it's permanent (with the ability to make changes of course). Shared spaces don't interest me that much currently because I don't want to put in a ton of effort into something that will disappear.
What I would I would like to see, even if the "door" is in the village, our house could actually be almost anywhere in sky? Like imagine setting up your house-space in one of those abandoned spots in the Wind Paths area or Cresent Oasis. I would also like to have the option to visit my friend's house from the friend constellation (as long as they have it "public).
Thinking about other games I played as a kid like Club Penguin and OurWorld, I believe everyone got a house space for free but you could pay to expand it and it either straight up IAP or expensive in-game currency or locked behind a membership. If Sky goes down the paid membership route..... i think a lot of people would be very unhappy. I hope they don't do that and the house spaces are equal for everyone.
edit: i also hope our house will have both an inside and outside yard/patio area, because we have soooo many outdoorsy props currently

And here, I thought it will be another collaboration with an artist with valley - Coliseum location 😭 but another aviary season is just too soon for me 🥲🥲 but will Excitedly wait and see!
We're currently on a collaboration season so it'd be way too soon for that. I think they will do collabs every 5 seasons.
it would be so fucking cool if we could pick our neighbors (like a best friend or something) and to add eachother it has to be a mutual request, and in aviary there could be one through four “houses” that we can use that key on, and only us can go in unless holding a friends hand
