Hey brother, Thanks for the great vids. I recently purchased the 2022 Glady-Mojave with the 3.6 and 6spd trans and almost Every-time I depress the clutch between 1st and 2nd, 2nd and 3rd, I hear a clunky noise - sounds like there is too much slop in the drivetrain. Jeep is still stock cause I haven’t done any mods yet and it only has less than 1500 miles on it. Been doing it since I got it at the end of Sept. My friend is the service manager at the CJD Dealer and he took it for a long ride with one of his too trans techs and they say its perfectly normal noise. Im 56yrs young and I’ve owned and driven many manual trans cars and trucks - but this chunkiness sounds off to me. I really wanted a manual but I am feeling buyer’s remorse and starting to regret buying it. Does yours make the clunk when shifting too? Thanks, Eddie

Actually new to working at a cjdr dealer. Wasn’t sure if it was the same for newer standards. Seems to make the same noise but it could just be because I’m not used to it. Unsure

I like my old truck because it will not stall even if you let the clutch out at idle slowly without throttle. Same with my old 4 speed car. I had the emergency brake fail I pushed the pedal and it broke when I closed the door on my truck. Thankfully this is Florida so it moved slowly.

Can you still "push it or roll down hill "and pop the clutch to start the start Jeep? Like older stick shifts…

It’s so funny that this generation, most don’t know how to drive stick! Hahaha. Most teenagers back then wanted a stick for their first car. My first car was manual, didn’t want anything else.
I guess you can feel safer having a stick nowadays, cuss most thief’s won’t know how to drive it!!! Haha 🤣
Edit: I can’t believe that videos on UA-cam showing how to drive manual, has millions and millions of views!! WoW!!woW!!
No wonder why no other truck makers offer a manual, even jeeps are 100-1 on the dealer lots unless special order. Saw 1 stick in the 4-5 dealers I went to, out of over 100 gladiators.

Sweet little Jeep you have there. Question:. What motor do you have and what kind of gas milage are you getting. It's awesome that Chrysler still has manual vehicles so nobody can steel it. Thanks for posting

Currently 2019, early 2020 Gladiator only comes with 3.6L V6. Later 2020, they’ll have a 3.0L eco-diesel. His manual will have better gas mileage than autos. But all gladiators aren’t great on gas, average everyday driving is usually 15-17mpg combined, usually closer to 15 unless you’re using the engine off option.

I have a 2020 manual Gladiator, you do not have to hold the break to turn it on. Just hold down the clutch.

You don’t have to press the brake down to start the engine
