Really appreciate David's videos. He doesn't just list the standard stereo types, like a lot of YT-ers do. He has made a lot of videos on totally different subjects as well. Good reaction!

We are not Direct, we are Honest, many Americans confuse telling lies into some ones face with politeness..Telling lies is NEVER polite.

Guns ARE allowed in the Netherlands, however with very strict requirements. You can use guns for sport, hunting, collecting and sometimes for defending yourself. However you need to get a license, and that requires heavy background checks, a safe to put your gun in and a separate location for your ammunition (checked by the police).

Actually not only is transportation costs covered, but - not uncommonly - at my last employer I could bill any private trips to company card as well. As long as it wouldn't be crazy extravagant... That's of course not a very specific limit, but also anything was more than they required to pay for, so it's all a service from your employer basically.

Be humble, be modest, be honest, act normal, no bragging, no crazy nationalism and flag worship, etc, etc..

You may want to try a video from an online Dutch teacher called Bart de Pau as well.
He teaches Dutch to expats and other migrants from all over the world who now live in the Netherlands and has them coming over to his studio sometimes to debate about Dutch stereotypes.
They are quite funny most of the times (and well....they are truthfull also). There are even some Filipina's in some of his video's.

We do not leave at 5 pm, we leave at 17:00h, no pm/am here, we do not use Latin any more, that stopped after we kicked the Romans out in the 5th century.

Well, first part is true. The 2nd not: Romans left due to flooding and the need to defend the home country against the Goths.

Hasselt in Belgium, and Hasselt in the Netherlands, probably..
Hasselt NL is the birthplace of the founder of NYC.

'Doe Normaal' is a bit complicated. It means 'behave normal', but that does not really tells what it means. You can do as crazy as you want in the Netherlands, and nobody will stop you. Its ok to stand out, if and as long as you are being yourself. Thats the clue: to act very hyper, very not-normal, just to get attention, to NOT be yourself, overacting, speaking loudly. That is frowned upon. The entire speaking goes: 'doe maar normaal, dan doe je al gek genoeg' (loosely translated as: 'act like you do normally, thats crazy enough for me').
