Can You Build a Bazooka? (DiY Rocket Launcher)

In this video I show off my newest creation, my DiY rocket launcher/Bazooka. This device launches Estes model rockets that are designed to fly out of a tube instead of a launch rod. This is actually a relatively safe project, but I did not go into detail to avoid inspiring anyone to much. Do not repeat the experiments I showed in this video.
Apologies for low video quality in some parts, I spent almost a whole week trying to recover video footage and it was the best I could do.
I will be further advancing this project and making more capable rockets, I also plan on attaching some kind of self destruct that will destroy the rockets before they arch to far out of line of sight for safety.

I did the same thing in the 80’s. My rockets were spin stabilized and flew relatively straight. I used steel Pepsi cans to make ring stabilizers with rotational vanes. Huge hit at our Halloween party 1983. I wore a BDU jacket with jungle boots. Exactly 40 years ago. I went on to a career in Army Special Forces and fought in 3 wars.

neat I actually built something exactly like this with the goal of having a pyrotechnic payload in the rocket (Something like an airsoft pyro grenade), but never could get the rockets to be stable. I then ran out of patience and moved on to another project

You can make a C65 model rocket engine with Potassium nitrate ,powered sugar ,and a little kittie litter 😁 the kittie litter keeps both ends from burning and mixing the other ingredients makes sugar rocket that shoots about 10k feet
You can make your own Potassium nitrate with grass cuttings, a tarp ,and your own urine 😂
Pee on grass and after a while it forms white crystals
