- This video is an examination of "Israel's Mass Assassination Factory," a bombshell story broken by Yuval Abraham for 972. After summarizing the current state of the conflict, we delve into the Habsora system, how it works, its use of the "Power Target" designations, and how all of these factors represent a serious escalation in violence from the already violent occupying colonial state of Israel.

Today, the journalist, poet and beloved Palestinian writer Refaat Alareer, was murdered with his family in an airstrike. I'm going to leave a poem he wrote back in November that really stuck with me, in his honor:
"If I must die,
you must live
to tell my story
to sell my things
to buy a piece of cloth
and some strings,
(make it white with a long tail)
so that a child, somewhere in Gaza
while looking heaven in the eye
awaiting his dad who left in a blaze-
and bid no one farewell
not even to his flesh
not even to himself-
sees the kite, my kite you made, flying up above
and thinks for a moment an angel is there
bringing back love
If I must die
let it bring hope
let it be a tale"
Rest in Power to every journalist, artist, poet, writer, and every single Palestinian soul lost to this genocide.
Obviously there must have been a k'Hamas tunnel within 17 miles of his home and thus the IDF was acting defensively/s
@@j0j0dartiste21I know you’re joking, but if you deleted the « K’ » before hamas, that could actually be an IDF official twitter post.
Hey didn’t he make fun of the fact that hamas baked babies in an oven alive? Poor refaat. Let’s hope he enjoys his 72 virgins😢
What a beautiful poem and horrid loss. This genocide is beyond what a human heart can bear. How can this ever be made right?
Thank you for sharing this poem
I genuinely don’t understand how people can say “it’s complicated” or “I don’t want to chose a side” when shit like this is happening. It’s foul, and unacceptable.
Because I'm either antisemitic or Islamophobic so I'd rather just side with whoever wins at the end
Because not everyone is a citizen of Gaza. It's a hard truth; We as human beings are only capable of so much compassion. When tragedy happens far enough out of our reach, when it doesn't feel like *our* family being murdered, we lose compassion. It's sickening but the solution is having empathy, but not everyone can muster that within themselves. And worse yet, there are ideologies that poison the mind and make one assume that everyone outside of themselves is a problem waiting for a bullet-shaped solution. It's a lose-lose scenario. You can care (and still fail to achieve anything meaningful for the citizens having their lives turned into a hellish nightmare) or you can choose not to engage (and save yourself the emotional exhaustion of seeing lives destroyed in fireballs).
Because the conflict is between terrorists and war criminals and I refuse to pick a side as the mainstream media has been arcing us to do (at least in favour of the IDF going by the fact that you could make a drinking game for the amount of times mainstream journalists covering this conflict start with the headline "IDF says"). If you twisted my arm, I'd pick the citizens of both sides because they're the ultimate victims in this pointless war.
Health kit, please. Please consider how big of a movement NAFO is and tell me that again with a straight face.
The truth is, people don't WANT to find out more and gain that connection to the affected simply because all the news media and presidential speeches they listen to talk with the intent of confusing the listener. They're buying into the propaganda, they just don't think they are.
I promise you, the moment you sit someone down and show them the statistics, give them examples, etc, if they're open minded, they will agree. Anyone would.
@@ahealthkit2745 Americans don’t have that luxury tho since it’s our taxes funding Israel, it’s our weapons being used by the IDF, and it’s our government providing political cover for their crimes.
Can someone make a side-by-side comparison of how the US responded to Ukraine vs Palestine? Because to us Gazans, the racism is so in-your-face that it feels borderline unreal.
☝
It’s wild how in the early stages of Ukraine being invaded, people shared around a “Ukrainian” girl standing up to a “Russian” soldier. But it was really a picture of a Palestinian girl standing up to a iof soldier. Suddenly all the people I knew who were posting the picture became silent on the actual context of the photo. Suddenly the girl that people were praising as “brave” became “too complicated” or even worse, claimed as terrorist . Racism doesn’t need to be covert when blatant immediate hypocrisy is consistently unchecked
Well, maybe the responded like that because Ukraine is right on EU's, and NATO doorstep? Nobody gave a single fock about Ukraine before the war.
That's because Ukranians aren't bloodthirsty demons from hell

Underrated comment/quote
This is an ahistoric, reductive, and over simplistic analysis. The quote itself is made up and pushed by the antisemitic holocaust denying Journal of Historical Review and falsely attributed to a made up Father John Sheehan who doesn’t actually exist. Are you really dumb enough to think history and conflicts in the region began in 1947, western colonialism didn’t happen, or even the crusades? Focus on the actual genocide and war crimes being committed by Israel, and not the simplistic fantasy word of bigots who are just as happy to see Palestinians genocided as they would be to see Hitler return from his moon base to continue his project.
Did you know that Rome, according to its own historians, expanded its empire to encompass all of North Africa and almost all of Europe purely through defensive wars?
A small piece of trivia to consider when the sole justification for a war is the "right to self-defense"
Well said.
i heard elsewhere recently that israel doesn’t actually have a right to self defense here, as the hamas attack took place on land they don’t actually legally have, it’s still actually occupied territory. but i have yet to go thru all the geneva conventions and figure that out for certain.
@@morgan0They don't have a right to self-defence anyway. Israel is an occupying force. Occupying forces have to expect armed resistance, and they have no rights to 'defend' themselves under International law, as they are seen as the belligerents. There's only a very narrow set of circumstances (that I can't remember rn) in which they are actually permitted to use lethal force.
Absolutely, the idea that Rome "conquered the known world in self-defense" is thrown around history circles a lot and tells you a lot about how state powers justify violence and oppression- it's even worse when you start to read about Rome's repeated, blatant attempts to insult and provoke neighboring powers, often by sending "diplomats" who would be as abusive and insufferable as possible just to try and bait reprisals.

it's literally genocide without any sugar coating. I don't understand why that's so hard to understand. it's almost cartoonish that they just plug their ears and say lalala it's not genocide. I'm so glad more people are calling it for what it is.
Im jewish and i dont really go to synagogue but my mom did when she was growing up, she says there was a lot of israeli propaganda and she didnt even know about gaza until she was an adult. Its taken a while for her to realize what’s going on but now I am glad that she agrees with me that the palestinians dont deserve any of this. collective punishment is never the answer, not under any circumstances.
The jews of all people should realise why genocide is bad.
I’m glad you and your mom are on the same page, despite of her surroundings as a young adult. I have a similar story:
A year ago I went to the synagogue near Yale, as I felt like checking it out since one of my old friends goes to school there. It was nice to be alone with the Rabbi (I forget his name but he was very nice) and just talk about daily life. I will never be able to set foot in that building again. That previously mentioned friend got fairly upset at me after I stated my feelings about the apartheid, and subsequent wars back home. All I said was that I cared for the citizens of Israel and Palestine, and apparently that was too much for him. It’s a real problem in some of our orthodox communities (my family is reform) where sentiments of hate and xenophobia are encouraged. I only hope that peace can be achieved at some point.
My mom is Jewish too and she’s had so much propaganda put in her brain throughout her life, so she still has the gut reaction to support and defend Israel sometimes. but even she was able to see that israel is committing acts of terror in our name

Every time I learn about a new murder, war crime, slaughter, etc, I have a deeply visceral reaction, because I’m human. It literally takes so little to find the truth of the situation, even despite the propaganda, and yet people would rather be blind and accept the mass genocide a “necessary evil.” When children ask me in the future why no one did anything, I don’t know what I’ll say because I have no idea how others don’t think about this horror almost every minute of every day.

Nah Israelis are insane. Mfs got the genocide song topping Spotify. They are not a healthy society not at all
nicely said
Sorry for the essay in advance
Christopher Hitchens was a lifelong socialist who was 'cancelled' by the 'progressive' left in the early 2000's because of his nuanced take on the U.S. role in Iraq. He said that the U.S. should go in to Iraq and depose Saddam Hussein because Saddam was a sadist and ruled through torture squads and terror, which he did. Hitchens' point was that since it was the Americans who put that monster in to power in the first place back in the 70's and condemned 25 million people to unthinkable evil, it should be American dollars and lives that are spent in order to right that wrong and maybe turn Iraq in to some kind of modern democracy.
Now obviously it didn't work out that way. To America's credit, they did depose Saddam and ended a 30 year dynasty ruled through brutality and rape and torture squads and the worst things you can imagine. At the same time, the U.S. went in to Iraq with imperialistic intentions and it wasn't exactly the progressive crusade that Hitchens wanted, and he admitted that afterwards. My point is with this rambling comment, being a progressive _should_ mean being brave enough to stand up to your comrades and contemporaries. Hitchens was a life-long advocate of social democracy and human rights, but because he had a take on the 2003 Iraq war that wasn't in line with the trendy progressives who just wanted to see it as a black and white thing, he was essentially excommunicated from the left.
He never became a conservative out of spite, but he did call a lot of people insulting names.
@@elrondhubbard7059 Hitch was never excommunicated from the left as you say, your perception is off. I'm sure there were people that disagreed, me being one, and those people turned out to be correct as all we did was create ISIS or another of the groups like it and made more enemies in the ME than we ever had before. You can't invade and conquer people and force democracy on them, that's not democracy. We were correct in the end, nothing we did there worked out well and we left a trail of even more problems behind us, but we still all love hitch. I couldn't.
They've been taught that Palestinians are subhuman m•rd•rers all their lives.
racism and military brainwashing
Because they never see them as humans
They have been raised since birth to view Palestinians as a sub-human enemy. Then they all have to spend a couple years as IDF soldiers subjugating Palestinians in the West Bank, thereby becoming actively complicit in the maintenance of the apartheid, or even worse things.
They probably convined themselves that all those people supported the Oct7 attacks, in order to feel nothing.
*EDIT: Not currently living in Israel* Hey, I'm a Jew who grew up in the West Bank, I served in the IDF during Operation Protective Edge. The information in this video needs to be everywhere, too many Israelis are gobbling up the propaganda and justifications that the Israeli governments is putting out. It was never about the hostages 😢 #freepalestine #ceasefirenow
Please never stop talking about this.
That 2002 IDF "apology" sounded more like "sorry, we didn't know you guys would be so mad about that"
Well done Noah. Keep up the good work. Your work is well thought out and well researched.
WHO ASKED + I MAKE WAY MORE BETTER CONTENT + UTTP IS WAY MORE THEN NOAH LOL
using on AI to generate "targets" is insane like how can be human life be so cheap.
It's utterly wild. They just skipped the entire "what if AI was used to control weapons that can kill people in a war zone" phase (that everyone was worried about since Terminator came out) and went straight to using AI for designating bombing targets without regard for civilians (which is obviously a parameter they had to have set at the start).
I rarely leave comments, and rarely ever leave a video on Palestine by a non Palestinian feeling like the speaker knew what they were saying. You have been making great videos, thank you so much.
As an Afro-Indigeneous Turtle Islander none of this surprises me. What irritates me is that I, for some reason, can't opt out of my taxes being used for this. My preference is they get used at home to improve schools, level the playing field etc but they don't get used that way. 🤨 I would also like to opt out of the police. But I can't. =_=
My tribe was split in 5 and we lost 7 clans during the process of genocide. We know what this feels like but the brutality was more direct because they had to use swords and guns and look at us while they did it.
Seeing this happen with full support of the "American" government which did the same thing with Iraq and Afghanistan. That did not end well. That was RECENT. I don't know why they think this will end any more favorably.
I want Netanyahu at the Hague. I want the IDF renamed what it is: IOF. I want the genocide to stop. It's sickening. Israelis don't seem to want this either. No one is listening to anyone it's bonkers.
The UN and ICC are controlled by the same filth controlling Israel
thank you for using your platform to speak about this :)
unlike other youtubers
It is beyond comprehension that we're witnessing a modern-day genocide in plain sight and practically all of Western civilization is siding with the war criminals.
The collective guilt trip from atrocities 80-odd years ago is essentially killing Palestine and it shocks me to my core as an Indigenous person living in a colonial, imperialist world. Suffering is not enough, cruelty is the point.
Germany supports the fascist Israeli government too.. as one of the few German people who have been protesting said: "Germany does not seem to have been able to get all that being against genocide thing right"
@@atropabelladonnano wonder, Germany’s still being treated like shit if they criticize literally anything even a single Jew does. We’d get the „nazi“-card instantly if we were to say anything against Israel. And I’m not even trying to whine here or anything, but it’s fucked up cause we feel like we can’t stay objectively due to our past.
Being on the side of Hamas (Palestinians who support it) is also supporting war criminals. If only Palestinians were these innocent people who’ve never done anything wrong.
You don’t have to agree with Israel but he doesn’t owe anybody anything. They owe only to their people that October 7 won’t happened ever again after Hamas threatened that they will do it over and over again. Compassion won’t save you when someone tries to deliberately kill you! The reality of life. Hamas brought this disaster on themselves and Palestinians who supported them themselves. Hamas could choose to improve the lives of the people in Palestine with all the money and support they’ve received, they chose to buy guns and fund terror.
Take a DNA test and we'll see how "indigenous" you really are
@@molasorrosalom4846 Well dickface, if you must know, I am 100% Algonquin.
I have nothing to hide. Even my own community will claim me as such.
This is so fucked, the world is facing another genocide, and yet instead of trying to stop it, the world is cheering it on
Now we know why they were celebrating in Israel shouting “Gaza is a cemetery”. This is gross, I’m disgusted.
Appreciate the content you’re putting out!keep going
The AI targeting is terrifying
And using it to target journalists as well? Horrifying.
@@sillygo0oseragreed, it’s so chilling to know that all those journalists whose homes and families were annihilated had it done in such a deliberate purposeful way with the targeting system
Thank you for making this video .
Thank you for this video, Noah. I know it’s easy not to make a video about this, so I’m grateful you are using your platform for something important.
tysm for not monetizing this it makes it feel sm more genuine and caring than it already is
Thank u sm, literally no one else I watch is talking about this
I love this comment section. Was definitely expecting more tension but was pleasantly surprised
Hasbara bots are retreating 🙂
Subscribed solely because you are using your platform to speak against a genocide and have demonstrated decent research. Thank you for these videos.
😂😂😂😂
thank you for this
i can tell you really put effort into this - sources, resources, etc.
amazing job
"What evils they might normalize into the world" is an important point that I wish more people thought about. Our vulnerability is all our insensitivity
Side note: You're a cool kid if you know that lyric, it's from "Vulnerability" by Operation Ivy. A great band from the late 80's whose messages still ring true today
Thank you for being one of the only creators to use your platform to help cover this, the silence is fucking loud
Thank you for uploading this bro ❤️
This is a well made video. Thank you for standing on the right side of history.
I wonder how long before this video gets taken down and put back up with new edits because UA-cam is being UA-cam about it.
please keep making more content about this!
Fantastic video! You’ve been putting out some really good stuff lately!
Thank you Noah for telling the truth and standing against genocide ❤
Thanks for coming from a place of integrity over views. For some of us, it has been very isolation realizing friends and family just don’t value Palestinian lives. Being able to see a familiar face sharing the same critical information about what’s happening makes me feel like I’m not in it for the long haul by myself. Free Palestine 🇵🇸
Thank you for continuously using your platform
thank you for using your platform! you have no idea how valuable it is
You’re the only “leftist” youtuber (other than hasan) that I’ve seen post videos about this.
As a Palestinian, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
The Deprogram had a whole episode up, but it has been pulled as "hate speech"(because anything condemning genocide and racism is "hate speech", but calls for and endorsement of exterminations, that's A-OK because there is no civilization in the west).

Man I gotta say thank you for articulating what I hope many are thinking about and I hope will continue to for as long as we exist. Sadly many turn away from watching the actions turn into horror and the underlying reasons motivating it, not just the surface level reasons, even following the timeline irl.
Thank you for continuing to show your support ❤
I wish I had your eloquence. I feel a strong urge to help and spread this, all of this. Family dinners are approaching, and I'd love to have it in me to have such a contundent way with words. The evidence and arguments are there, I'll see what I can manage
