New Melges is $80K and is much worse quality. Also, Melges comes with a lifting keel. No thanks. I would rather have a real boat, not a dangerous gimmick.
Behind the tiller. It is set up a bit like a sailing dinghy where the main sheet comes down the middle of the boom but is anchored at the transom. Pretty clever way to have a cleaner cockpit. I like it.
you people should go and check out the Sarch boatyard... same concept, but lighter and stronger carbon built. Small boatyard that spends its money on building, not on advertising ;-)
Er I don't think Saffier have ever advertised with us @JonaBlomme - however I do know after sailing most of their models over the last 15 years or so, that they design and build fun and practical boats to a high quality> T
@@yachtingworld I never told they advertised with you guys, I just know they put a lot of money in getting their name out ;-) still you should check out Sarch 🙂
Thanks for introducing this interesting boat!
I was in a race last week and someone sailed on this boat solo and didnt even stay to receive his first prize. Crazy fast this boat was.
Great boat. Thanks for the review
Beautifull design and colors.
This actually fits my budget!
Beautiful boat.... The Dutch know their trade. Still.
Used M24 $25K (Can), SE24 $100K(Can)
If you really care about the environment, you buy the M24.
If you want a nice cool new boat, you get the SE24.

Absolutely one fantastic day sailor but boy oh boy that price is steep!
Amazing design. But that price is a bit crazy for a boat that size
But then u have something that only a few have 😜
Main sheet traveler?

@@meestahwah Thank you!
If only I could tow it behind a Caterham 😀😀.
What’s stopping you?

Sarch looks awesome!
At €70k plus vat and then sails on top it seems pricey for a 24 footer.
Why this shape of the bow? Don't you offer buoyancy and a bit of deck for a certain 'style'?
🎉😮
Точно сапфір.
¿Faster than a Melges 24?
Oh god no
Melges is crap
An Internet maxim is to never feed the Troll
From year to year the boats are getting smaller and pricier 😂
Are u for real. Is it made out of gold. Dont even have a out board motor. No ftidge nothing
Right on the money? I can buy an actual yacht for 70K.
Yachting isn't for peasants.
That's why I don't have one. I'm thankful for my 40yr old beater that keeps on truckin.
Not new you can’t. Someone always has to buy the boat new for $250,000 so you can pick it up ten years later for 70K.
Did I say new? no, I said a yacht, not a daysailer.
