Home at my dads farm we wash with a hot power washer, use a brush with soapy water and then rinse it off. But maybe we should try waxing cause it looks like new when you do it. :) Love your vids. Was working on a farm in Canada for a year in 2014 and it reminds of that time. :) Love from Denmark.
I have to say one thing and it might be offensive but younguns don't know how to wash a car or a tractor. My Dad taught me a long time ago to always start on or at the top so that all of the dirt continues to wash down as you go through the process. Sorry Ryan if that offends but it makes good sense. :)
+jbmbanter Actually it's not a good way to do it. If you start on top you can't see what you have done and what you don't because the water or the soapy water covers up everything you haven't done yet. Then when you're done and it dries you see what you missed. It's when you rinse it that you want to start on top and work your way down.
To be honest, when it comes to washing our tractors and even our farm trucks, we don't always use soap if we don't have any. My dad and I don't see the point in dropping everything to drive 30 minutes to town, spend 10 minutes in Tractor Supply or a gas station, then 30 minutes back to our farm. What could have been a 20-40 minute job, just turned into an hour and maybe 40-50 minute job.
sorry to be critical but you should have had the tractor completely clean because if its not and you start to buff on the wax you will scratch the clear coat with the little grains of dirt and dust, and also you didn't spread the wax out evenly. Sorry still love your vids keep up the great work
Nice, clean and shiny, shame there is no tyre black or stuff to make the wheel mudguards shiny!!! seriously, it must make a difference to weather-proofing as well as looking good. Does someone breed retriever dogs on the farm?
In all my years living on a farm I never waxed or saw a tractor waxed. Where I come from a completely clean tractor means one of two things , it has never been used or it has been broke.
It means that the owner is looking after it well and is passionate about his kit. I regularly wash my New Holland nd my friend who polishes cars at a garage does that stuff for me
+Juan Baeza the opposite of what you said. The wax is shiney and slippery making the dust not stick to it so it just slides off keeping it cleaner for longer.
Windows on the first tractor were still filthy... Can't stand dirty windows... the rest of the tractor, it's gonna get dirty, figure on it getting dirty, but I WANT clean windows!!! LOL:) Course windows are about the hardest part of the machine to clean... Later! OL J R :)
if you think that those tractors a dirty. you have NEVER seen our tractors. if you want I can send you a small movie of 15 sec of the inside and the outside. made it today.
Cool video, but most important thing is to wash the interior, the exterior will get just as dirty in 10 minutes. I like to sit in a clean cab that dosent smell like manure or pesticide. And make shure to use a degreaser to clean the plastic before putting armor all because you will just armor all over the dirt so you end up with a dirty shiny interior. I clean and deatail the interior just as good as my truck or car lol
Ryan tell those hater out there internet land, tractors tend to be dirty why because they work outside; has to understand yes a farmer clean their tractors when there is enough downtime but a farmer time is important when there is downtime there more important things that are need to be done then washing his tractor I here you bro.
A clean tractor is a happy tractor. Looks great!!
5 Hp?? At least 15!! Looking good. As my dad used to say, "look after your machinery and it will look after you!" Best of luck with the tilling.
That time lapse looked so peaceful.
Your tractors are very well taken care of
Get them cleaned up so Wes will be jealous when he gets there.lol

You said all clean. But you forgot to put armor wax on your tires. LOL
Looks fine!
nice to see people take care of there equipment we wax our tractor every year
Great video. Keep up the good work!!
Creme based waxes work great in the sun, they spread easy, wipe away with ease, and still give that fresh deep shine.
Hard to believe it's summer 250 miles south of here. No high school car wash this year? Really enjoy your videos.
+B Laquisha I guess not so I had to do it myself :'(
Great job, great video. Happy farming
I have the same exact pressure washer
Watching your video makes me want to wash and wax all my equipment
Get a couple microfiber towels and some spray wax. Works great and one step.

We have to wash the tractors pretty much every week in the winter due to the roads being salted
how many dogs do you have?
In England a farm tractor will be lucky if it gets washed every other year and that'll be just with a hose
Smart people always drive green paint
Simotanios screams!!!!!! Oh and thanks bc now I feel like going and waxing all of the tractors now
Been there done that. Keeping them new looking. As much as possible really not that hard.
When was it last cleaned geez.

I also like to keep my equipment clean. by the way how many tractors do you have
U may want to use a micro fiber cloth to rub in the way an buff it!! Also please wash with soap next time!!!
You want me to watch all your videos again...do you know how long it takes??? jks..
You are in safe when you get off of your tractor
Do you wax the windows? It does help keep them cleaner!Yes inside and out.Glass wax is cheap. It is not fun to do.
How many dogs total does your family have?
Blake Wilcox I think 4
Doesn't the wax collect a lot of dust while you're out working on the field with the tractor?
+Juan Baeza the opposite of what you said. The wax is shiney and slippery making the dust not stick to it so it just slides off keeping it cleaner for longer.
how many months can you go without waxing?
Nice Nero

There beautiful always wash from the top down😀and have a cold 🍻 afterwards. Because that's a lot of washing.
Nice clean tractors! But made me cringe how they got washed, lol!!
Anyone have any tips for getting tough, sticky dirt out of the grills on the hood?
if you think that those tractors a dirty. you have NEVER seen our tractors. if you want I can send you a small movie of 15 sec of the inside and the outside. made it today.
Shouldn't you clean them when your done with the work ?

You probably know this but dont get to close to the tractor with the wand it will kill the paint!! Dirty tractors mean working tractors!!
Plastic panels aren't painted..they are molded green

Don't feel bad I just wash my tractors about twice a year

Oh man, I like your videos but this was painful to watch! I hope someone from Turtle Wax sends you a care package. ;p
Yeah wax dosent remove dirt it smashes it on the paint and scratches it. I would have use soap and clay bar.
