I never thought about having a small greenhouse indoors but it makes sense. So far my orchids are doing fine without one, but they should definitely help especially when it comes to humidity.
@Joe-nj3bb when l grew completely indoors, l kept them all in one corner but used a humidifier next to the area. I don't really think the humidifier was of any use though 🤣. Now...this greenhouse is in a 3 seasons sunroom...so technically still outdoors but it comes with quite a few challenges for sure. I felt way more secure when growing completely indoors.
Where did summer go? I just brought back in the last of mine, my neo hybrids last week. My Vanda Lou Sneary is in bloom for the first time. I was expecting more fragrance, but maybe next bloom cycle. My Vanda Pinky seems to be sloowllly pushing out a spike or 2… your Phal. Mok Choi Yew looks stunning! So vibrant! I’m with you on the make it through winter with no issues! The change in water needs always sneak up on me!
@OrchidMarcus Fingers...toes and eyes crossed that we make it through winter!!! The spikes are super exciting! Wait a minute.....do you have a channel? Let me check.....
@Kevin-rf2iv this is a basic portable. Electric oil filled radiator. ( l have used as low as 900w units and 1500 w units in this 8' x 8 greenhouse. Useless if the power goes off, of course. It is all plugged into a GCFI Outlet for protection. Definitely not a professional greenhouse set-up. Just hobby. But it works😊. Thanks for watching.

What kind of heater do you use in the winter greenhouse?
