Happy 4th of July! Just cracked my bottle of the Albariño batch 2 last night. Planning a blind with the most recent releases of the port, VDN, scribe mead, and Albariño soon. Sure I’ll be able to pick them out but it’ll be a delicious flight
Batch 1 is so good, it’s hard to imagine batch 2 being that much better. I do know I need to drink more Sagamore. It’s so good but I keep overlooking it. Great video.
Are these from the distillery or can you pickup across the border? Really would love to check them out when the Sherry comes out. Maybe it's just another field trip.
The ones in this video are all distillery exclusives unfortunately I wish they would do them wider but they are essentially experiments with aging time
@@bourbonbillGreat thanks. Not terrible I live 1.5 hours away in Lancaster. Any idea when the Amontillado finish is released. Would love to grab both at once. Visiting the distiller and grabbing the DO, Manhattan, and Meade finished just blew me away. Big fan now and It's not half the country away.

Yeah the original batch 1 was probably my all time fave prior to batch 2 the extra aging adds even more depth
They probably switched the distillate between batches so that they could devote their higher aged maryland juice for the bottled in bond.

@@AmishFuryhey I live near Lancaster too! And no idea yet they usually send an email in advance of the distillery exclusives but not always
Who can send one up to the Chicago area for some doll hairs?
Next time I’m there I can see if any are left not sure how fast they will go. Some sell out within a couple weeks and some last a month
