I didn't know about the jiffy stand not having a kill switch on it. Must make sure it's in neutral! Also when your wife dropped her bike, it did not appear that the saddle bags where making contact with the ground but I could not see for sure?
They touch the ground when it fell over but barely. I bought this bike specifically for her to learn on and wasn’t worried about her dropping it.
