I did the whole take helmet apart to install my cardo pactalk slim...was t hard at all. But now that i own a harley i want this helmet as its branded Harley-Davidson and i dont have to install a unit.

I upgraded to a Stage 2 set up in January of 2024 on my 2017 Ultra Limited with the 107ci M8 engine. I added a Wood 22XE, Wood Knight Prowler lifters, Fuel Moto Quickie pushrods, S&S oil pump and cam plate, S&S tappet cuffs, Screaming Eagle 55 mm aluminum intake manifold, Screaming Eagle Ventilator Extreme air breather, and an S&S Sidewinder 2/1. After dyno tuning, my bike makes 113 hp and 118 ft lbs. My gas milage have been hovering in the 32 to 34 mpg range. The Wood 22XE is a great cam, but has a flat spot from around 2000 rpms through 2500 rpms. After that, it's really aggressive!!! Great video, and nice bike!!!

You should be getting better numbers something is restricting you from getting there you should be at 120-124 hp and around 130 torque I would try a different exhaust on there and maybe a different breather

Peak numbers really mean jack💩! The area under that torque curve is where it’s at on a Harley!!! You want big HP numbers get a ricer!

Did you have any problem removing the stock bolts from the floorboard mount ? Any tricks to get it off ? Mine won’t budge to were I’m gonna strip it. Thanks in advance

Don't run the bike in 6 gear at low speed you'll take the fly wheels out. 80 mile hour then you can youse 6 gear. Most riding is 3 gear

If you use a good wire like the one your phone comes with, just plug your phone in to the USB an auto or Apple will come right on. You don't have to open or buy anything. Except maybe the wire?

Carplay Adapters are having issues with every IOS update. The adapter firmware needs to follow.

Did not work on my 2022 HD ST. Would not connect to my phone. I tried it in my car and it worked. This device was a waste of money

The bike runs great, you are happy with it, it runs stronger than your buddy’s with a different tune, yet you are complaining about gas mileage? My guess you didn’t go with the xe cam to improve gas mileage. Get a Prius if you want gas mileage

So I have a 2022 road glide great video as well I have reinhardt dbx4 and screaming eagle tuner so you highly recommend the woods doing my homework b4 I pull the trigger to have it done you would think the HD dealer would be the best place to have it done seeing if something goes wrong they have to figure it out thanks

I know it's been a minute since you uploaded this video. I just purchased these as well as the windshield trim LED. Anyhoo, these will be replacing Ciro fang bezel lights, so that black pieces you drilled into are gone. I might be able to find them in my huge closet of spare parts. Do you recall if there may have been a way to install without those? TIA great video

Hello, Since it’s been a year since you installed the 22XE do you have any negative thoughts about it? Also depending on if you’re an aggressive rider or not how is it cruising at 60-70mph? Did it improve or hurt your fuel economy much? I am getting a 2017 CVO Limited in about a week, and the first thing I plan on doing is a cam upgrade, and the 22XE is what I’m considering. Unless you tell me something that may cause me to reconsider. Thanks

Another way to do it is buy the 7 pin adapter from Bohnman customs then you do not have to take the fairing off and install the jumper. Then do the quad lock. The advantage of the quad pick is if you have the 12 v free in your top case put the quad lock there

man can it connect to other sena headsets like the 20s evo or the 30 etc

i went ahead and installed the whim and it works with my harley sena helmet. it is super nice. plus of course all the car play stuff with that wireless adapter.

You really skipped over the most critical part of the process; the alignment and marking of the holes. Ordered a set of these because I have the lower set and really love the look, but am sending them back. Trying to properly align them and get the mounting holes positioned uniformly is really a bad design. As someone else stated, Kuryakyn should’ve manufactured them with a mounting base that would let them be screwed down using the existing screws that already hold the OEM inserts in place. There are many other brands out there that do it that way so that there no potential alignment problems. I’m a stickler for symmetry and these have way too much chance of one side being slightly different than the other. There’s also a significant likelihood that one side or the other will obstruct the fairing outer shell during removal or installation and rub the painted surface bare.
